Before using this, it was impossible to make any peanut butter. Concoctions, because the peanut Butters are always so hard to mix and get stuck on everything. This easily allowed me to use my mixer and mix the peanut butter with ease, which allowed me to make all of my peanut butter concoctions. Whether it be a mixed peanut butter protein for the morning. Or a mixed peanut butter with infusions, whether it be lavender or t. HC or anything, it's easy to mix it in.

It works...eventually. I like the stirring part, but cleaning it with the metal rectangle is not as easy as it seems. I have arthritis and multiple hand issues. It can be trying to get the metal square to clean off the butter in full.

The description shows this device comes with a little scraper to clean the extra peanut butter off of it, but it doesn't, which makes it a very messy process to clean the stirrer when you are done and kind of negates the whole point of the thing. I did try to reach out to the seller to correct it but never heard back from them, and you can't return it, so I would recommend looking for a different solution.

I usually use the long handle of one of my wooden spoons to stir peanut butter, and I thought this might be an improvement. It is, but with alterations to the “instructions.” The stirrer comes with a little metal “tab” that threads onto the stirrer. You are supposed to hang onto while you twist the stirrer with the other hand. However, with that tab in place, the stirrer doesn’t reach down to the bottom of a large (box store) size jar, and it’s the bottom that must be reached. So, off with the tab! I just stuck the stirrer down into the peanut butter and twisted and wiggled it around. It did a great job mixing! (Much better than my wooden spoon!) I cleaned it off with a rubber spatula, threw both implements into the dishwasher. and made some toast.

The stir stick is simple and does the job. It is made of a sturdy stainless steel curved rod that mixes the peanut butter well with way less mess. Works better than my old method of a long teaspoon and or a butter knife. The flat metal piece is used first as a handle to twist and mix. It is a bit cumbersome but it does the job. Once mixed just slide it down the curved rod and leave the peanut butter in the jar. Works well!

Did a great job scraping the beveled corners of the jar. The scraper thing cleaned off the stirrer really well.

This is a very nice size and very sturdy. It's perfect for stirring and it's long enough your hand won't get peanut butter on it.
