They came packed well with the shell disks wrapped together in plastic. None were broken, chipped or cracked. No strings were tangled. The color is true; green and blue. They’ve worked every night since I’ve hung them up which was the day they came. The box never even made it inside the house. I can’t say how long they stay lit, but they’re still brightly lit when I go to bed. The star fish are thick clear plastic and the round disks are made from shells. They make a pleasing light sound in the wind. So far they have held up beautifully in some pretty high wind gusts (25-35 mph) where they were really swinging. They have 2 light settings; always on or slow flash.I’m planning on buying the same set for my sister and second (different) set for me. They are so pretty during the day and just striking at night.

Very pretty, gives a nice glow to a screen room ,patio, out side. Works as a bit of a night light if getting up in middle of night. Bought this for a friend for Christmas that is backed up against the 91 freeway! wanted something with a little noise & glow, bought a 2nd one with out the solar for more noise coverage when out there. Hope she likes them ,I did. My brother just bought a screen room because they have mosquitoes so they sit out there at night zipped in w a fan and light but I think this will give a nice glow too so might give them a gift too.

I got the blue and green one as a gift and really liked it. The colors are bright and intense. I ordered a second one but the colors were much lighter so it looked pale in comparison. I ordered it again but got the same pale version and one of the strings broke within a couple weeks. I would give it a 4 if the colors were bright like pictured and my first one.

Why did you pick this product vs others?:Purchased one previously in different colors, even though this one looked like it was used it does seem to be working ok.
