PLEASE BE CAREFUL
I have been taking Biosil every day for many years now. Firstly I want to say that it does work for the intended purpose, maybe even too well. Shortly after I started taking it my nails grew thicker, they actually have small ridges on them know and feel bullet proof. My hair is also thicker now. However, over the last 6 months I have noticed side effects. Increasingly I have noticed my pulse was very strong all of the time and more recently I have started getting heart palpitations. I eventually went to the GP who referred me to a cardiologist. As you can imagine this has been very distressing as I believed I had something wrong with my heart. Before I went to the cardiologist I thought I would research Biosil to see if there are any side effects and I found a few forums and reviews which showed heart palpitations as being one. I stopped taking it straight away and after a day and a half I am back to normal. Whilst this is a huge relief I feel I need to warn other customers of the potential for this. Obviously every body is different and I might be a small minority who experience this but just buy this with open eyes and look through the negative reviews first as other side effects are being reported.Biosil don't list any side effects on their packaging, probably because they don't have to with it being considered a supplement, but they must be aware of this (if I can find out after 10 minutes Googling). I think it's very irresponsible of them not to list potential side effects as they're essentially putting profit above the health of their customer which I find vile.There are a small number of reviews on this listing at the time of writing but I did find other listings in the UK and US with thousands of reviews which reveal side effects such as acne, headaches, bloating and heart palps. Please do your research before mindlessly putting supplements into your body like I did.

Noticeable difference in thicker hair. Nails not much difference yet. Finishing 120 tub and will order another.

Well I haven't finished this tub yet but my nails are as bad as ever and the arthritis in my ankle is no better. I'll wait till I finish the tub and see what I think then. So far no noticeable change.

i bought these for the wife who has been taking 1 aday for some time and you can physically see the difference in her finger nails they are now nice and smooth and even so i would say they must work!

Caused horrendous headaches
I took the product for 3 weeks and then started developing headaches. These headaches are present all day, and undulate between bearable and very painful. I stopped taking it 2 days ago, but I am still getting the headaches. Did anyone else suffer from headaches? If so, how long did they take to dissipate?If you read the reviews of this product, it clearly causes many bad side effects. Multiple people mentioning cystic acne, blood pressure issues, heart palpitations, headaches etc. So....when you're weighing up the pros and cons of the product, please bear that in mind.
