VeloChampion 3K Lightweight Carbon Fibre Bicycle Water Bottle Cage with Bolts Included - High Tensile Strength and Lightweight. Ideal for Cycling or Triathlons

I chose the Velochampion bottle cage because it's ideal for the type of riding that I do. I first purchased one for my aero bike a year ago due to it's aero design and I ordered this one for my hill climber as it's very light. Over all I think it's a great bottle cage that holds standard size bottles firmly, very earo, very light, sturdy and won't break the bank.

What a super piece of kit, lightweight and strong, and does close down enough to hold my Highlander vacuum flask for on-road use. The bottle cage came with neat domed Allen screws which I discarded in favour of shorter light alloy screws I had by me and so it totals only two grams more than my 'posh' carbon cage at more than twice the price. As a black finish it blends neatly into my predominantly black and white painted bicycle and should guess the slotted bolt hole allows sufficient adjustment to fit bike frames with the 65mm standard threaded eyelet separation, or 2.5".

Just bought a new bike and wanted a bottle cage that was light that also looked good. This is both of those to be fair although one slight niggle is I would probably prefer more discreet decals or none at all. Minor gripe as it still looks good. My bike is white with black trim so it does compliment it anyway. £20 probably just on the high side, they should perhaps look at offering a set of 2 for £30 which would be spot on.

The bottom bracket snapped after only a few rides. This was a replacement for an aluminium alloy cage, which snapped after over 12 mo of heavy use. The manufacturer would be advised to re-enforce the wings and the bottom bracket.

Beste Verarbeitung, Trinkflasche lässt sich ohne große Schwierigkeiten während der Fahrt entnehmen und auch wieder hineinstecken. Halter ist sehr leicht und einfach am Rahmen des Fahrrads anzubringen.

Finalmente un portaborraccia bello e leggero che stringe ma non troppo e che quindi mi consente di non perdere le uniche borracce degne di questo nome, ossia le Camelbak Podium. Queste, che trovo imbattibili per la morbidezza e per l'efficienza della valvola, sono un po' panciute e non vanno d'accordo con i portaborraccia tipo Elite. Questi sono sì tenaci, ma sui sampietrini (pavė) lasciano salire la borraccia non consentendone il ritorno verso il basso con vibrazioni di pari entità, fino a perderle. I velochampion invece hanno il giusto grado di elasticità e non mi obbligano a spingere di tanto in tanto la borraccia al suo posto per evitarne la caduta.
