Q: Will it make my canvas stiff?

I was cautious because my application was 50 year old canvas. This product worked remarkably well. Once it was allowed to fully air dry the canvas feels rejuvenated not crunchy. And water beads up like a freshly waxed car. Just make sure to mix well.

Q: Does it help to restore the original color after being faded?

No it won't restore faded color. It will slightly(hardly noticable) darken the fabric but when throughly dried it will be hard to tell any difference

Q: How to clean sprayer after using canvak?

I have just run soap and water through the sprayer; pump up the sprayer and let it spray out through the nozzle.

Q: does it contain wax and mildew preventive?

According to the manufacturer, this product is mildew resistant and is a fluoropolymer (kind of a liquid Teflon) treatment. No mention of wax. Warning; the liquid and especially the atomized spray is FLAMMABLE. Suggestions; clean canvas, etc., thoroughly and dry, then apply protection. After a year in sun and weather, my boat cover is still waterproof, no mildew, and bird dropping residue washes off without staining. A little expensive, but so is mildew or a boat sunk at the dock.
