Xtreme Pro-Expert Styling Gel - Strong Hold, Non-Flaking, Long-Lasting Control & Shine for All Hair Types, 15.87 Oz Jar

For my TWA wash and go girlies, this gel is perfect. It's alcohol free with aloe, crystal clear, and no harsh chemical smell. It lasts because a little goes a long way. It's thicker than Eco, but not sticky and does not flake when dry. It looks shiny and healthy on your hair. It mixes with leave in (Aunt Jackie's, Mielle, etc.) and holds all day. A spritz of water or refresh spray will reactivate it without having to wash it out the next day. This holds better than all the Eco stylers on my 4B-ish hair. I don't know what type of hair truly, but it's coily curly like a spring and curls easily with a sponge or my hand. It's a great price for the product and my every couple days washes. Try it.

Great hold, does leave a little residue but minimal

Make sure your satisfied with whatever style you choose because your hair will NOT budge with this hair gel! This stuff has a STRONG hold that lasts forever. A little goes a long way, so this container size should last for a long time. I dont think it's great for curl definition because its a pretty thick gel. Your curls will be hard, crunchy and heavy. I think its great for all hair types, but not for all hairstyles. I have thick, 4a/4b hair and it holds my slick backs perfectly, but I wouldn't use it for a wash n' go or anything like that. I dont experience any flaking or residue, unless I try to brush or comb it, but that happens with any gel. It dries down with a nice shine, and it plays well with the other products I use. It can cause build up, so maybe use a clarifying shampoo on wash day.

This gel gives you a generous amount for a great price, but when it comes to consistent, all-day hold, it falls short—unless you absolutely drench your hair in it. And I don’t mean a normal amount in your palm; I’m talking about a big scoop, lathered in like shampoo. That’s the only way to achieve a hold that lasts all day. Otherwise, it loosens up pretty quickly. On the plus side, it doesn’t flake, and it has a nice medium shine. However, even with maximum application, if you shake your head, the hold can still come loose. (I mean, who’s shaking their head like that? But still.) The fact that you need to use so much product just to achieve the basic promise of strong hold is a bit excessive. That said, it’s still a good bang for your buck. But if you’re looking for a truly extreme hold, got2b Ultra Glued is the only gel I’ve found that actually delivers on that promise—unfortunately, this one doesn’t quite measure up. If you don't need your hair held in place all day with a glue-like strength, but instead just need a semi-strong hold this is the one to go for.

This gel works great but be careful who you purchase it from. My last purchase arrived with almost half of the gel missing from the 15.87oz container. Highly disappointed.

Love this gel, it works really well for my curly hair routine and doesnt flake with any leave in conditioner. Also excellent for a sleek back pony and use it for ny edges as well, doesnt have very good hold for edges but I put a silk scarf for a few minutes to lay them down while it dries and gives edges a better hold. Will leave some residue as y6iu get more build up over a few days which is normal

Gel holds for a long time and smells great too

C'est mon gel préféré depuis des années ! Que ce soit le transparent ou le bleu, ils fonctionnent exactement de la même façon sur mes cheveux 4a. Il ne laisse aucun résidu, s’applique super facilement, et les boucles sont ultra définies, même si je l’utilise seul. Je recommande quand même de l’utiliser avec une crème hydratante en dessous pour encore plus de douceur et d’élasticité. Pour celles qui n’aiment pas l’effet un peu cartonné, il suffit de prendre une huile de votre choix et de scruncher vos cheveux entre vos mains pour libérer la boucle. À noter : plus la boucle est figée, plus votre wash and go tiendra longtemps. À vous de choisir selon l’effet que vous voulez ! Ce gel plaque bien les cheveux, mais pas autant que certains gels ultra-fixants. Pour un placage parfait toute la journée, j’ajoute une petite cire par-dessus.

Buon gel

I use this for a wash and go over a leave in conditioner and oil. Best decision. Test the leave in before use and use a generous amount and you won't regret it. EDIT: I still love this even more than Eco styler but in my last order I lost about 3 oz of this precious elixir in the box. Please be careful packaging it). Edit 2: I had to stop using it because it burned my scalp and some of my hair fell off. So if you're not allergic to the ingredients it's amazing but for new users, be cautious.
