Not a true 8 pin.
Electrical engineering 101. This is not and I mean not a 8 pin to 8pin power cable. Please fix your description. Most new video cards require full duel 8 pin power cables to the PSU. This is not that. You combine what looks like a ground cable into one cable before the connection. This is bad for GPUs. Do not buy for newer GPUs and seller should know better.

Beware of incorrectly wire cables
I have two kits from Cablemod and one the (latest kits in Carbon I ordered directly from Cablemods site) I found the SATA cable was wired incorrectly. The SATA measured 3v and 7v instead of 12v. I switched the pins on the CPU plug to match the correct pins and they now measure 5v and 12v as they should.Incorrect wires could be a catastrophic failure burning up components. I having an issue were my PC was overheating as I use my SATA to power my D5 pump for watercooling.I ordered the Thermaltake Dr. Power II PSU tester as I do not trust any of their cables. Also ordered a set of PSU ATX Pin Remover tools so I can fix any other issues I find with the cables.Otherwise the cables are nice but incorrect wiring is a huge deal. And could cause a nightmare of issues and damage components. Here was the reply from Cablemod."Rest assured, as long as you select cables for a compatible PSU, everything will be plug and play.We have multiple tests that we do prior to shipping cables out including PSU compatibility tests to again, ensure plug and play. :)"Even though they test errors still happen.

They look nice but are kind of a pain
Pros:They look and feel niceCons:SOL if you have a video card that needs two 6 pins because there is only oneHalf the cables aren't labeled, including CPU and PCIEPCIE cables are 6 pin cables split into 8 pin.. only 6 wires on PSU endDid I mention the cables aren't labeled? Ever finished cable management completely, only to realize what you thought is an 8 pin PCIE is actually not, because one hole on the cable end isn't the right shape? None of my Seasonic cables look like that...Yes they are nice cables but for $100 they need to be on point and not cause so many headaches. Just make normal cables and stop confusing people... Never in my years of building PCs have I been so annoyed by a bunch of cables. No need to be confusing people with these unnecessary splits for the sense wires.Still going to use them because they look nice but jeez, hopefully this is improved for future buyers.

Cool but probably stupid.
These cables are quite a bit less than a fully custom set. I think this is much better than extensions because it is less clutter and fewer connections. The bad, the cables are remarkably stiff and hard to route in tight bends and route even in a big case that is stuffed with water cooling. These are stupid because they are entirely for appearance, and they do look good when compared to the stock cables, much better in fact better than I would have expected. There is obvious no performance benefit and so this cost is entirely for the cool factor, so kind of stupid just like the water cooling was also kind of stupid.Did I mention it looks good? The only negative I can think of, the only thing I would change, is to add open wire combs in a 16 wire configuration to bind the 8pin GPU power cables together in a tidy group. The other idea to make them better would be to make them custom lengths, but CalebMod offers this on their website at a substantial cost. So these are sort of cost saving thing.Did I mention how good they look? It's ridiculous how bad the stock cables looked in the case with all of the custom hardware.

Twisted and Faulty cables, plus wrong color.
First off, this isn't my first build (or even in the first 100) so I have some experience, and i have never seen a cable kit so messed up. Now, on to the product: first, amazon sent the wrong color, but I was willing to roll with it. Then I noticed that individual wires were strung wrong, making them loop and twist, just a looks thing, so I was again willing to roll with it. Then I went to plug the cables in and noticed that a CPU psu side cap was on the gpu cable. This would have meant the wrong power requirements going into my 1400 dollar gpu's and potentially causing some serious issues. If I hadn't been reading and just plugging in, we would have found out some curiosities. Cablemod, how can you mess up so much in ONE kit? I will update the score based off customer service here on out.*Update: just tested the other cables with a psu tester. 24 pin is dead, no loose contacts or anything, just no power. Psu works fine with stock cables. Cablemod- where is your QC? Are you kidding me?

Title is a LIE, not the Pro Series.
The title is misleading and a total lie... I ordered this thinking it was for the RM series for Corsair and that it was the Pro Series, as you can see in my picture this isn't the case. Having to return as it will not be compatible with my PSU. Amazon or Overclockers need to sort this items title and description out so it's more accurate, as this has happened to a few people now.

Incorrect description and image
The item is described as "CableMod CM-PCSI-FKIT-NKKW-R PRO ModMesh C-Series AXi HXi & RM Cable Kit" According to CableMod's website this is compatible with my HXi power supply. The Pro ModMesh kit also comes with the superior cables with premium closed cable combs built on to the cables.Alas, I wish I had read the previous reviews, as when this arrived I found that not only is it for the wrong power supply (the supplied kit is compatible with RMi/RMx, not HXi as I require), but it is also the inferior Classic ModMesh Kit, not the Pro ModMesh kit as advertised. Will have to return as useless to me, which means an unnecessary trip to the post office.

Just great!
I've been a pc builder for like 25 years now and have used a dozens of kits in the last 6 months. Usually i go DIY but if a client need his rig fast, i go for pre-made and i can say those are really premium cables. 1st time i receive a damaged packaging but its not the fault of CableMod. I reached their customer service and the person i spoke to was really kind and understood what i needed. Without any hesitations, after i sent him some pictures of the damaged cables, he has sent me replacement cables and i received them very quickly and they are perfect. Packaging was really good too. So for the quality and the amazing support, im giving à 5 stars. I would give more if i could. Yes, they are a bit pricey but they are really worth every penny spent in them. Could use a couple more cable combs tho but thats the only downside and not that big of an issue. Every clients i recommend these cables to, are satisfied. Thanks again for great product and amazing support!
