Destiny 2 Limited Edition Ghost Speaker + Echo Dot (2nd Generation) White

Do not buy this device, if it worked, all it does is re-direct the Alexa Ghost skill response to this "speaker" so not only does it have to be in the same room as the Echo or you have to have an Alexa remote you also get a worse output as the speakers in the Echo devices (all of them) are far superior.I couldn't get mine to work:Once turned on you connect to its temporary networkSelect wifi network (it didn't see mine, in fact it was a list of networks that didn't exist)Failing that you manually input network (the security settings menu e.g. WPA/WPA2 and the like didn't populate)It says success and then takes you to enabling the Alexa skillDid this and then you activate the device using the ghost skill and the serial numberAt this point it said "oh there you are" and then proceeded to continue using the Echo speaker as an output and this over-priced rip off just sat there inert.I believe the product description is misleading, I was fooled into thinking it was actually another device that would not only make the ghost skill more fun but would also act as a normal extra Alexa device/speaker - it should for the money!

As everyone said already, this is NOT worth £80! All you need is echo and destiny skill. You can do the same. All Echo does is just pass the sound to the Ghost. You can’t even use this as a speaker.I ordered 2 one for myself and a friend and we are both returning this. It’s cheap plastic and in my opinion should be worth £20-25 quid.Of course for collectors this can be good to just be a good collectors item

Just received this and it is now awaiting collection for return, product is very flimsy, does not stand up and just looks very cheap, speaker is quiet and 9 times out of ten failed to respond, not worth the money at all even as a deskpiece, such a shame as was looking forward to this

Juat opend it and teied to set it up. Followed all the instructions and got nothing. Then went through all the online help and that didnt work either. This item didnt interact with my echo dot. No sound came out, and for 80 pounds, its very cheaply made. Not worth it. Its being sent back tomorrow morning!

I got this when it was £15, for some reason it goes from £13 - £15 one day.. and the next day it goes back up to £60+ .. so keep an eye on it before you buy, and check each day for the price drop.But all in all its great for £15, if your a fan of destiny then its a fun and handy piece for you to quickly load your favorite loadout.plus it looks nice on your shelf... and considering the mini ghost keyring on amazon is about £13.. may as well get this one that does more.just keep this page open and refresh it each day to see how the price dramatically fluctuates from £60 to £15

Not worth the price. I would write a review about the actual performance about the thing but I can't get my Alexa to work with it.I followed the instructions, I set it up to connect to my Wi-Fi but it's just permanently on standby. It's not even showing up on my router's connected devices list.

really disappointing as others have said feels like cheep plastic speaker is not verry loud at all you need ti have the thing right next to you , had to wait till echo dot arrived before i could review it , followed instructions and it connected right away to my network and dot with out any issues.all and all i would have been better to buy a replica model as the speaker is pretty much useless you cant even play music through it, even if your a die hard destiny fan like me you will be disappointed in this

Could of been so much better!!! The plastic feels cheap, there's no weight to the product, no stand, difficult to set up and is essentially a pass through for Alexa. Its also not loud enough.However, a 3d printed ghost on etsy is 30 to 120 quid so its ok. Will probably sit on the shelf as a collectable and that's about it.
