Love the frame and the product itself is solid. I use chalkboard markers and they will not come off after completely drying. I use the same markers on another chalkboard and they wipe off just fine. This board required a magic eraser and lists of scrubbing. It ended up taking off the whole top layer of the surface and now the markers come off slightly easier (but still a BIG pain).The markers are meant for “nonporous” surfaces which I thought this board fit the requirement. Apparently not. May be user error, may be the board - just a review of CAUTION.

Would not recommend. The chalkboard is made out of plastic. Doesn’t even function like a chalkboard and smears when it’s attempted to be erased, and writing on it well—it’s like writing on plastic—no other way to describe it. The writing area is not the same as the dimensions, which takes away from it. There are 3 hangars on the back wich have to ensure are aligned perfectly when hanging—a hassle in itself. Although it looks nice my one star rating is based on the functionalty not aesthetics. I bought a chalk board, not a plastic sheet.

I bought this chalkboard for use in our store window, hoping that it would look professional and attractive. I was concerned that since it was in the store window for a month with chalk wording and designs on it, that the sun may bake the chalk on and it would be difficult to clean up. Not only did it wipe clean easily, the wording had stayed on beautifully without flaking off. I'm more than pleased with this beautiful board!!

I cured the board like you’re supposed to, but everything permanently stays marked on the chalkboard. This is the worst thing ever bought. You can’t use liquid markers chalk markers or regular chalk waste of money

Cool looking board. I wanted it to hang vertically so I took off the pre-mounted hangers and mounted them on the shorter side.This isn't made of chalkboard like from school (many years ago).

I do like this for appearance but I crave an actual black board and not a plastic imitation of one.The bottom line is it looks good but cleaning it is a pain.

This works really well and is very cute hanging on my wall. Easy to clean with a wet cloth. I have only used the liquid chalk pen so I don't know how well regular chalk works on this board being that it's not like the old fashioned chalk boards we are used too.

This sign arrived in perfect condition. It looks great and is solidly made. I would absolutely recommend and buy again.
