my 12 year daughter who is learning Japanese finds the book excellent.but she also says that it's sometimes difficult to match the photos to the exercise numbers

The language teaching book is easy to use and to understand. Furthermore it is supported by a lot of on-line material.

I got this to check out for use in the middle school Japanese classes I teach. It looks really good-engaging artwork, fairly easy to follow, logical progression. I want try it out. Before officially adopting it, I have a couple of questions (the parallel Rikai and Katsudoo texts are a bit confusing, plus Wonder if it moves a bit too fast). What I like is that it’s easier to follow than most texts published in Japan but less cluttered with English commentary about the language than most books published overseas.I’d be curious to hear from any teachers who have used it in class.
