Reliable, Quiet, and Worth Every Penny
Iโve been using this power supply for a bit now, and itโs been rock solid. Installation was smooth thanks to the fully modular designโno cable spaghetti to wrestle with, which already makes it feel like a win right out of the box Performance-wise, itโs been consistent and quiet. Even under heavier loads, it doesnโt sound like itโs trying to take off, which is a huge plus if you care about a peaceful setup. The build quality feels premium, and everything from the cables to the unit itself gives off that this isnโt going to fail you at the worst possible moment vibe.If youโre putting together a system and want something dependable without second-guessing your choice later, this is a safe bet. No drama, no surprisesโjust clean, steady power doing its job.

Unexpectedly surprised
I feel like every single review I write for Amazon needs to be wasn't what I was expecting or this is exactly what I expected.Unfortunately this one is not what I was expecting, but it's not what I was expecting in a good way. This thing seems absolutely overbuilt. It's massive and awesome!.

Solid choice for your needs!
I recently upgraded to the Thermaltake GF1 1050W fully modular power supply, and I couldn't be happier with my decision. Right out of the box, the build quality of the cables is impressive; they feel durable and sturdy, which gives me confidence in their performance. The cable length is also excellent, allowing for a clean and tidy setup in my case without any awkward bends.Installation was a breeze. The fully modular design meant I only had to connect the cables I needed, which simplified the process significantly. Everything fit perfectly, and I appreciated how easy it was to route the cables for optimal airflow. While the aesthetics of the power supply aren't particularly eye-catching, this isn't a deal-breaker for me. In my application, performance is key, and the GF1 delivers that in spades. It runs quietly and efficiently, providing stable power for all my components.Overall, I highly recommend the Thermaltake GF1 1050W for anyone looking for a reliable, high-quality power supply that excels in functionality over flashy looks. Five stars all the way!

The fan has failed on my unit
This PSU does the job fine. Unfortunately, this PSU isnโt ATX 3.0/3.1 and does not have 12VHPWR, which should be a standard in 2024 as many GPUs now use that connector. Another negative I noticed is with the fan. The fan in this PSU isnโt exactly the best and is audible when operating. If you turn on the fan-stop feature, the fan wonโt spin during low load and will spin during high load, but the issue is that the fan curve is based on temperature and the fan will keep turning on and off even if the system is under low load. Itโs honestly better to turn off the fan-stop setting because when the fan starts up, it is loud so I donโt recommend using this PSU with the setting enabled.UPDATE November 2025: Built my PC in January with this PSU. As of November, the fan has completely failed and is making a ton of noise. Will never buy a Thermaltake PSU ever again.

Excellent Power Supply with Great Features and Quiet Operation
I recently purchased the Thermaltake GF1 (2024) 850W power supply, and I'm extremely satisfied with its performance. The 80 PLUS Gold certification ensures high energy efficiency, which is perfect for my high-end gaming setup. The fully modular design makes cable management a breeze, and the low-profile flat cables help keep my build neat and tidy. One of the standout features is the Smart Zero Fan technology, which minimizes noise by keeping the fan off until the power supply reaches a certain load. This makes for a very quiet operation, which is a huge plus for me.The build quality feels solid, and the industrial-grade protections (OCP, OVP, UVP, OPP, SCP, OTP) give me peace of mind regarding the safety of my components. The compact size also fits well in my mid-tower case without any issues.Overall, this power supply delivers excellent performance, efficient cooling, and quiet operation. It's a great choice for anyone looking for a reliable and efficient power supply for their PC build.

Modular and simple
Exactly what I needed. My previous PSU had a surge and actually burnt out a fan cable, melted it to slag. This was a breeze to put together with some basic knowledge and ability to watch YouTube instructions

Thermaltake GF1 850W PSU
Thermaltake is an old and trust brand. It's price also quite reasonable. This is my 3rd PC PSU that I ordered and it's warranty awesome for 10 years. It comes with whole bunch of cables, so you shouldn't miss anything for a ATX motherboard. Another reason is matter to me, Thermaltake's wrapping always please me. It's not stingy to the materials!
