I was skeptical when these arrived, but they’ve won me over.I have medium thickness wavy hair and I use heartless curlers frequently. This is a very similar effect to my kitsch heartless curler, the wave is somewhat looser.I let my hair get about 75% dry after a shower and then rolled it up. The little mini bonnets are super cute and they helped to keep frizz down. I slept in the set overnight.I would not recommend these for side sleepers. I’m a back only sleeper, but I did feel that my head movement was a bit restricted by the buns. Still, it’s way better than rollers. I think I still prefer a headband style curling rod for mobility and a similar style outcome.

Of course, it goes without saying that the results will vary based on hair type and heatless curls will not work for all hair types, but in my experience (with thin, straight hair), yes the heatless curls worked.plus the silly scrunch cover I use all the time to protect my hair

My hair has about 5% waviness and I don’t have super thick hair so dividing it to two sections and wrapping it around the two sticks was easy and the elastic cap helped it stay intact. It works better if you can put the “bun” on top of your head so that it doesn’t bother you whether you are a back or side sleeper.For my daughter with much thicker and longer hair than me, it was harder to wrap all of her hair in these two “rods”. We have the stick headband type of heartless roller so either two sets of these or using these with the other type work better for her. If you have shorter and very straight hair, it works better if you have multiple rods so you can get a better handle on getting all of your hair wrapped.This works really well and is easy to use so definitely try it. You can also use a ponytail holder or scrunchy to keep your bun together especially if you happen to be a wild sleeper.

Exactly what I was looking for. Item is as described and met my expectations based on the description! Very soft material and I love that I get a very natural looking curl with no heat and barely any effort!
