I want this 35 oz mug but I don't like drinking from a straw. Is it possible to get a different lid, like the simple slider opening one?

Yes you can easily switch it for a normal rambler slider lid. I bought this one for my husband which doesn’t like straw either and he just switched one of his magslide lids from another yeti and works great!

is this easy to hold for small women hands?

The cup handle makes it very easy to hold onto your yeti

Is the stronghold lid available for 35 ounce instead of the straw?

If you are talking about the one where you just push back to drink out of it. I believe you can purchase separately. I have that for my other cups also.

A correction to the question or statement made by Amazon… I have a 35 ounce yeti not a 25 ounce. I did, however, attempt to measure the diameter of the opening in the lid for a straw and it is approximately 1/2”.
