Love it!
Bought this for my wife’s WFH setup. She fell in love with the Creamy Switch craze on TikTok and this was a reasonably priced keyboard that fit the bill. I found a cute sakura themed keycap set to replace these, but she said she’d have been happy with the blues and purples that came preinstalled. It looks great, feels and sounds fantastic, and does everything you’d want from a keyboard. She loves the size, specifically that it includes the number pad. Not enough decent keyboards do these days. People want minimalism in everything, but the functionality of a dedicated number pad is hard to beat. Connecting is super easy. We’re using the hardwired USB-C option, but I was able to use Bluetooth on my laptop at work while I was testing and installing the other keycaps prior to giving this as a birthday gift. She loves that it’s such a lightweight feel of typing, even noticeably so to someone without the heavy handed typing of myself, having grown up on IBM and Alps switches which allow for some decent banging. I’m not a keyboard snob or really a deep enthusiast, but some of my friends and coworkers that care more than I do really loved it as well. It’s a crowd pleaser, and that wonderful little subdued THOK on each tap is soothing as foretold.

Blue&purple review from a non-keyboard person who just likes the sounds
REVIEW KEYWORDS: CREAMY SOUNDS, BORING KEYBOARD DESIGN, GREAT CONNECTIVITY OPTIONS, MINIMALIST LOOK&FEEL, I FEEL LIKE A DAINTY FAIRY PRINCESS TYPING ON THIS, OOOH PRETTY SHINY LIGHTS I'm so new to keyboards. I've had mechanical keyboards but I quickly grew out of the loud clacky sounds and the keyboards started gathering dust on shelves. I heard someone using a keyboard with a creamy sound and they told me about it when I asked. I went searching and it took me about an hour of Amazon searching, reviews, etc, but I can happily say I've found the creamiest keyboard ever. The keyboard looks like a classic keyboard but I kinda wish it didn't and had a more unique look tbh. It's a bit plain (not talking about the colors) as far as the physical style of the keyboard, but given what were getting, I think this is good enough. I changed the keycaps out and I'm very happy I did. I added a pic, it's space and science themed which I love, more colorful, and I think works better for me. Don't be nervous to try swapping them out! Sounds? Creamy. The creamiest keyboard you've ever heard. My gawd the sound makes me so happy and calms me at the same time. Just listen to my video. I'm usually a heavy handed typer but with this keyboard, it's sensitivity of pressing is kinda light so it registers less heavy presses quicker (if that makes sense lmao) so I end up tying lighter handed??? Idk. It's cool. I love the thockey sound. It's such a deep well rounded sound that makes me happy. I work in tech support and sometimes have to call people on the phone to help them, and I've already gotten compliments on the sounds. One user said that my typing was like keyboard asmr 😂😂 anyway I love this thing. There are plenty of other reviews that can talk about specs n stuff. As someone absolutely not knowledge about keyboards and switches and isn't interested in changing that, this is a good keyboard. The sound is the creamiest while audible but not too loud. while the color scheme is a bit boring (as were the other options, this just was the less-boring-est), you can always change out the keyaps yourself. Hope this helps someone make a decision!

Bought it for my husband and now it's mine
First I want to say that I initially bought this for my husband as he had bought a walmart clicky brand keyboard and was finally growing tired of the clicky sound lol. Well as the keyboard enthusiast I suggested this one as it was simple and a few of the review videos had sounded promising. When it arrived the first thing I noticed was the heft, this was made with durable material and not light weight at all, which put some ease to my mind that it wasn't just made of cheap plastic. The size was just perfect, I couldn't be happier, and when I typed for the first time the creamy and thocky sound just itched the right place in my brain. I could not get enough of it. I love that there are 3 types of way that you can connect, BT; Dongle or wired. I always prefer wired. The keycaps are nice, although I prefer rounded keycaps to the sharp square ones, I did replace the factory keycaps and I just fell in love with this more. The switches sound nice and deep and honestly, this is almost perfect for me, I'll be playing around with this keyboard especially since it's hot swappable and I might try other switches. For those just starting out with interest in the keyboard area, this is a great first start with a not too expensive price point! I did end up having to buy another keyboard for my husband since I stole this one, it was definitely worth it though! Can't wait to mod this one a little more!

Jaw-droppingly excellent
This keyboard is a dream to use, and my only true regret about it is that I didn't get one sooner. This keyboard looks, feels, and sounds unreal so I'll go over a few more of my favorite points in detail. * The greywood switches are fantastic. The action is smooth and the actuation force is incredibly low. Having already come from an AP2 with linear red switches I bottomed them out assuming they'd feel the same, but I'm loving them being an even easier press than that. They sound fantastic when you bottom out on this board as well, it's hard to really appreciate from sample videos. They are indeed very easy to hotswap too as I've already accidentally popped them out while pulling keycaps - they're very easy to remove and set, and I look forward to trying other switch types in the future. * The key lighting is bright and comes through well on the default switches. The vertical lightbar is a beautiful little addition with a few colorful presets and pops out in a great way. * The software is very light and capable. It's very familiar-looking coming from using stuff like Obinskit for the Anne Pro 2, but it's a little rougher around the edges as you do modifications to your lighting and bindings on a low-resolution mockup of the board. It's hard to see what has been set when doing so, but it gets things done. * The keycaps themselves are beautiful and feel solid but my only con is that they have no shine-through at all. In a dark room you'll be pressed to see your keys and having the board backlight on actually only makes that harder. For this, I transplanted my AP2 alphanumeric keys with shine-through letters onto the F99 and it works like a charm. I like the rest of the board so much and it can be rectified easily so I won't even knock a star for it, but be aware of this if you're used to your other boards having more visible letters. Not having that certainly came as a surprise to me. After all, I heartily recommend the F99 for making it feel exciting again to have a keyboard hobby again!

First mechanical keyboard ever - love it!
Perfect right out of the box. Set up was effortless. I love the simple and minimalist look and layout of it. I decided to swap my old HP wireless keyboard that I use for work out for this one and while it's a tad bit louder than I expected for snall office settings, I still love the sound and feel of it. It is definitely "stockier" than expected for plastic. Bit on the heavyside in comparison to a standard HP keyboard. Feels good and solid though. I've been using it all day and have no complaints so far. Small side note: if you're a dingus like me, the ÷ key on the number pad is the same as /. Took me a minute to figure that out because I'm so used to / + - * 🤣

Great basic keyboard for office work. Not consistent for enough for some games.
Great feel, sound and coloring. Love the plug and play. You can connect up to 3 devices on BT and switch via fn + 1/2/3. Great for my dual PC setup. Theoretically could be used for both office and gaming. Unfortunately, will start to glitch/lag once you type faster than 80 wpm, which most people don't. Super stable and reactive at lower speeds than that though. So I can play shooters and still flick + skill output like crazy. MMOs no problem; because the amount of input is limited and initial latency isn't bad on either BT or 2.4HZ. But I can't play games like Osu! or TypeRacer because the latency fluctuates once the input speed kicks up. So really random accuracy on button streams I know I can consistently 100% or words will not appear at a consistent rate when typing fast. It's not a polling issue, definitely inconsistent latency which makes some games harder/unplayable. But most tryhards wouldn't play these games on a wireless keyboard to begin with.

Perfect right out of the box, with one tiny hiccup (YMMV)
I was looking for a keyboard that sounded and felt nice to type on, and after hearing all the hype around these boards decided try it out when it went on sale for $65-ish. I can't tell you how impressed I am! The sound right out of the box is very satisfying. It's surprisingly heavy for its size, which makes it feel high quality. The housing doesn't have any screws so it's a bit of a pain to take apart, so if you plan on buying a keyboard to mod it, keep that in mind. I'm not planning on modding this board (it honestly doesn't need it and sounds amazing out of the box) so that doesn't bother me at all. The only thing I've had an issue with so far is the wireless mode-- I think my tower in my home office is a little further away than this keyboard likes, so the connectivity can get spotty/not work at times. I don't mind having a wired keyboard, but this may be something to keep in mind! I've had 0 problems with the keyboard at my work office (yes, I loved this board so much I bought 2!), even when I swap the keyboards, so I'm assuming it's tower distance. The one I use without issue has been on wireless mode for over a month and the battery is still going strong, I haven't needed to charge it yet! Honestly I can see myself using this board for a LONG time to come. Highly recommend this to anyone wanting an upgraded, creamy keyboard without breaking the bank or having to work too hard to achieve it. 10/10!

Unbeatable thock on a stock (board)
I am truly shocked at how good this keyboard sounds for the price! It's got the perfect creamy sound that emulates gently knocking pebbles together that makes your brain happy. The keyboard itself is nice and sturdy feeling. This comes with a cord, but it's one of the ones with the stiff plastic-y sleeve, so I replaced it with a nice braided USB-C. It also comes with a keycap/switch puller (which I did not notice at first - it was under the insert), and the keys come off with relative ease. A few got stuck and pulled out the entire switch as well, specifically the plus & enter keys on the numpad. I agree with another comment that the corners of the board are far too flexible, so it was very difficult to get my enter and plus switches to fully click onto the board. The keys still work, but keep that in mind if you're going to be swapping out the keycaps. Mine also came with 4 extra switches, in case any of yours get damaged when you're swapping. The keycaps are ILYCHEEGAMI PBT XDA in "Rainbow Candy". They're a little taller than the ones that come on stock, but I specifically wanted rounded edges to match the "pebble" sound. The original keys felt great, though, I just don't like white keys. If you're new to keyboards, you should look for something that says it is compatible with "cherry" stems and look for something that has a little cross under the keycap. Overall, I cannot recommend this enough if you're looking to add a nice creamy keyboard that sounds good out of the box with zero modification. I think it would also be great if you're looking to get into experimenting with keyboards because it is completely hot swappable. 10/10!
