Gits Rava Idli Mix, 1500g (Pack of 3 X 500g Each)

I have had issues finding instant Idly mixes locally. And those mixed typically being so bland and lacking in flavor without lots of things being added. I like these right out of the box and all you need is water. Most other brands I have tried require yoghurt which is something I don't normally have on hand. I use the plastic Idly maker you pop into the microwave when I cook them and they turn out great. The whole box made around 30-35 idlies based on pour levels into the trays within the maker.WARNING: Use a bigger bowl than you think you need based on ingredient volumes. When you add water to the mix, it will "fitz up" a bit while you wait for it to be ready to cook. I almost lost some of this yummy mix to my counter. This is just a heads up. I hope you enjoy this mix like I do, leftovers are also great to use with eggs the next morning when stored to keep their moisture.

The taste of rava idli is not so good as rice idli

Has an artificial sour taste when cooked.Not recommended for South Indians.

I really like this product.Idlis are easy to make..!!
