Good quality retro case
I was going to buy the Super Famicom (the one that looks like a SNES Classic) version, but I wanted some variation. When it arrived I had a complete flashback as it looks just like my old NTSC version SNES that I had many moons ago. To sum it up, a damn good case, very happy with the quality and feel of this case and it comes with a beefy heatsink that will not require a fan (hoorah). Until the N64 colour transparent case comes out, Both the Kuma 9000 and Mega Pi cases are the best out there, no I have no sentiment for the NES Classic case as it always reminded me of the olde VCR's we had back in school (lmao).

Best case out there
It's really good, easy to put together, took me 5 minutes. It keeps the pi cool with the fitted fan. I really like. It

My addiction to Raspberry Pi cases continues...
I gambled on this one as to be honest I was never a big fan of the US style SNES back in the day, but I fancied a nice retro themed case but this time with a fan to overclock it a bit. I've already previously seen the Nespi but I keep reading about issues with power draw which can affect performance so I've been shy of that one. There's also a version of this particular case by a company called Collector Craft that is slightly more expensive but as this looks exactly the same in the shots I thought why not give this a go and report back? The other nice thing about this one is it comes with the necessary bits to have the power light on the front, which the dearer one doesn't.And it is excellent. In the flesh it's very cute and dinky - just like the US SNES Mini. The plastic is very good quality and I cannot imagine the Pi ever being harmed inside this thing. It clicks in neatly and convincingly and makes your project feel very complete when assembled. I don't imagine that I'll be looking at other cases for a while (well, unless someone gets their act together and does some nice Mega Drive ones!). The fan is practically silent and non-intrusive when watching movies. The only negative I can think of is that the LED light supplied is very bright indeed. I haven't come up with a solution to that just yet but it doesn't bother me enough to sweat it. Suppose I could buy a slightly weaker one but it's fine for now.Recommended? Yes, even for Euro/Jap loving SNES fans. It just looks and feels so nice in person and neatly finishes your home-made retro console. :-)
