Pass on this..
This battery replaced a dead one on my old Toshiba laptop we have around for my niece and nephew. The only thing I can say is that at least now we can turn on the laptop and get about 20 minutes before we have to plug it in. That was the main reason for buying it. This helps for if you want to move from room to room or if the power cord gets jostled the old battery was so dead the laptop would instantly power off. But beware this is not a genuine real fully powered battery replacement. It won't even last an hour not even from the day we bought it and fully charged it.. Didn't bother returning because of the price.

Value price battery, value price performance.
Fair to middling performance. Expect about an hour to hour and a half at best. Less if you are doing anything that uses CPU, drive, and more than minimum backlight. Firing up Minecraft murdered it the battery quick. These laptops had poor battery life when new in 2009 and the value price cells in this battery pack don't do it much of a favor. OEM batteries however got 2+ hours. Lord knows what kind of cells are in here and one wonders about how long they have been sitting in a warehouse.Still, for15 bucks I'm cool with it. It will at least stay running if the cord gets snatched out etc or if I have to move rooms.Apologies in advance for the bad photo of the screen.

This battery will go in the bag as a backup but it's not good enough to be my daily-cruiser
I'm lucky to get an hour out of this battery with my laptop. I'm not sure if it's just a low quality battery or if my expectations are too high. I just bought a 6600mAh battery and I'm getting 2.5 to 3 hours out of it. This battery will go in the bag as a backup but it's not good enough to be my daily-cruiser. As far as the build quality goes it seems decent and the plastic/finish matches the bottom of my Satellite L505D-LS5005 very well.

Only lasted 3 weeks and then nothing.
I needed a new battery for my Toshiba laptop after 3 years the factory one was done. I went with the cheep option not expecting too much and I did not get too much in return, while the battery worked great for the first 3 weeks after that it was dead. I didn't fade slowly it just no longer worked. I really wasn't expecting a factory replacement but I did want it to last for longer than that.I did buy another one as the price is pretty good and I want to see if it was just defective of if they are all junk. I will report back after I see how the next one works out for me.

Did not work
If I could give zero stars, I would have. I bought this battery because my current one is dying and I can't afford a new battery from one of the big battery stores. When I plugged it in, everything looked good; the battery started charging right up and the health monitor on my computer put everything in the green. The next test was unplugging it at full charge to see how long the battery would last on its own. Point-five seconds. Almost immediately after I unplugged the power cord, the screen went black and the laptop powered down. I could only turn the laptop back on after plugging the cord back in, and when it finally booted back to life, the battery was at one percent. The battery would conduct a charge, but it wouldn't hold it.

You can do better than this one
Battery lasts about an hour and a half with casual internet use. This is only a little better than my original battery which is completely flat. Disappointing.

So far, this battery has been a game changer. It works as if the laptop is brand new. No issues so far at all. I love it
