that none of them was any good at picking up leaves
Well folks,I spent along time doing some reserch on finding a leaf blower/ vacumn and came to the conclussion from all reviews that it didn't matter which leaf blower/vacumn you bought weather it was cheap or exspensive, branded name or not, that none of them was any good at picking up leaves.I am writing this now to say that i decieded to buy this one and if it didn't do what I wanted, I knew that i could send it back. From getting it out the box it was very easy to put together, put some mixed fuel in,primed it and off she went, blowing leaves even on tick over, fantastic!! went round the garden blowing leaves into big piles to make it easier for my wife to pick up with her big leaf hands.Afterwards there were still stray leafs around so i decieded to try it in vacumn mode. It was easy to change over and put the bag on, fired her up, first time again and off she went and to my big supprise it picked up the stray leaves on tick over!! so then I went onto bigger amounts of leaves and gave it some revs and it picked them all up even the wet ones!!!. I was chuffed, this is an easy machine to use, the collection bag is worn over the shoulder and its nice and eaasy to empty. yes I did run out of fuel but not supprised, i'd been using it for an hour at least, so refueled it and of it went again no problem.I can't wait for some more leaves to fall so I can go out and play with my new toy again. This an excellent piece of kit and would recomend it to anybody looking for one.Well Done Guys!! from a very happy customer.

Timberpro - Not so excellent Leaf Blower
Quite a good machine for the money. Started first pull, not too heavy to carry, excellent blowing action.Have not used vacuum function yet. Machine is adequately robust. Quick delivery by supplier. I'm quite pleased with all aspects. After 1 year use report โ- Machine seems to have developed a fuel starvation issue. No longer useable. I was requested to return for examination as still under Warrenty. Not wort the effort. Will try to get a new carb and see if that fixes issue. I will report back in due course.- Bought a new carb for peanuts from China. Cleaned the original carb out one more time before fitting replacement - machine has not stopped since. Iโll give it another star now for usefulness :)!

Great value tool!
Can't comment on long term usage yet BUT...... delivered in two working days, well parceled, easily assembled and for the price it's pretty good quality. Couldn't wait to test run it and was fired up second pull. As the trees are dropping their leaves quickly now and also a large leafed horse chestnut I decided not to pick up with the machine but blow into piles. Filled two ton sized sand bags over a large area with the machine working great, ( even on tickover it's moving them well). Job done in half an hour! Now looking forward to using the mulcher when the rest of the leaves drop, as I'm sure the power will be more than adequate.. I'm a Stihl man as a rule but seeing this with a two year guarantee I thought I'd give it a try. So far delighted..Would point out, on negative reviews. I thought I had a petrol leak from the tank... The cap needed a bit more of a twist and that cured it.... Secondly there were comments that the pick up pipes were difficult to assemble so I gave them a quick spray with W D and they fell together fine ๐

great tool, as like the 5 in 1 i bought, now have three of these timberpro's
Great,, ordered on the thursday night (after hours) was here on the monday, set it up on the tuesday morning and what would take three hours with a rake and broom took about 20 mins with the blower, now i just have to rake the stones level again from all the times i've raked the leaves off the shingle! Wish i'd had this last year!! Only needed tick over to move most of the leaves / twigs, i was impressed with the blower and how much time it saved i even had a go with the vac, had a big pile of leaves etc,,, it did get blocked so to speak, let the trigger off and moved the vac part away abit then just used quarter throttel from the edge of the pile and it was fine ! I had already bought the 5-1 multi tool which is very good for bits and peices around the household garden,, (i do know a couple of gardeners that have that as part of their kit) also the day i was playing with the vac the chainsaw turned up on the tuesday which was ordered on the saturday morning,, thats proved to be just as good,,,, i have had tools much more expensive and have been a lot worse or more difficult to start / use then any of these! For the money its well worth the risk!

NOTE THAT IT IS USELESS AS A LEAF VAC
This is a cheap petrol powered machine and I guess you get what you pay for. Construction is flimsy so don't expect it to last. NOTE THAT IT IS USELESS AS A LEAF VAC! That is because the exhaust port has built in baffles (probably to slow air speed and protect the flimsy housing from incoming twigs, etc.) but the effect is to ensure the unit blocks immediately when you use in vacuum mode. And I do mean immediately. Unfortunately I didn't spot this until the unit had already seen extensive use in blowing mode. So I'm stuck with it. Going to attempt to remove the baffles with a file...Update: managed to cut the baffles away (sharp knives and needle nose pliers). Machine now works as a leaf vac.

Overall very happy with this machine - superb value for money
Overall very happy with this machine - superb value for money! I received this a day late due to Parcelforce (no fault of the seller) but still within 72 hours! I have previously only ever used Stihl blowers, so was somewhat sceptical that this would do the job. I was pleasantly surprised to discover that even when idling it is a surprisingly powerful blower, and more than capable of doing the job that I need it to do. I haven't yet used the vacuum, so I cannot comment on that. With regards to using the machine, the fact that the pull start is on the opposite side to all the other pull start machines I own was somewhat irritating, but it started third pull with my left hand which is not my usual hand! Using the blower, I found that I did have to switch hands occasionally - it is more comfortable and better balanced in the left-hand, but not being left-handed I felt better using it in my right. The only downside / upside was that when in the left hand the exhaust is pointed directly at my left leg which is great when the weather is cold, but I had to be a little careful as didn't want to light up my waterproof trousers - the opposite can be said when using the machine right-handed - the air intake frequently attempted to suck in said chainsaw trousers. These are incredibly minor issues - overall I am completely delighted with a well built, good value for money item.

Build quality is pretty poor but remember it was cheap
Bought this at least a year ago now and its been OK, in fact very OK !! Generally I'm a Sthil man so its not fair to compare. I bought this more to try the concept in my particular situation and it worked well both as a blower and a leaf chopper. The cons are and there are some, the collection bag is a real pain, too small and fiddly to empty whicj you do a lot as it too small !! Its not very well weighted but thats a minor point. The noise even for a two stroke is dreadful lol. Build quality is pretty poor but remember it was cheap ! and as long as your not too heavy handed it will last, no reason why not. For my own part I found assembly easy enough and obvious BUT thats me, I'm a bit of a nerd one it comes to these things. If your not practically minded then it might send you to the bottom of your garden for a nice scream !!

Disappointing
Hovers up leaves and blows them into hedgerow or piles to enable collection, but useless for twigs or branches..
