Bosch WTE84106GB 7kg Condenser Tumble Dryer with Sensor Drying System and Top Mount Water Bottle [Energy Class B]

Having the water tank at the top is the best feature!!! It is easy to remove and empty - no more getting down on my knees every time it needs emptying. As it is large, it doesn't need emptying all the time either and as it has no stopper, there isn't the risk of this getting stuck and requiring brute force to get the tank out of the machine as I experienced with my old dryer. The dryer looks nice and dries well. There are options for 20 mins extra drying if needed or a timed programme. Really happy with this product.

Does what it says on the tin! Pre-set dryness (Iron dry, cupboard dry etc) not as dry as expected but easily adjusted by following the instructions. Not clear from the instructions that this dryer can be plumbed in to a drain to avoid having to repeatedly empty the water bin but there is a small reference to a plumbing kit as an accessory in the instructions. The kit is relatively expensive at £20+ but all that is actually needed if you have a suitable connection point under a sink is a suitable length of small diameter hose.

I usually love Bosch products, but NOT this one. We bought it because it was one of the few we researched that didn't have any reviews that suggested that it might catch fire. That's the only good thing about it. It doesn't seem to have an option to put the drier on the heat that you want, for the time period that you want. All is organised through pre set stuff. The extra dry and cupboard dry settings NEVER get the items dry as the terms suggest! So after that cycle, I tend to put the items back in at least once, or more, on the 20 min warm cycle. This way you can get the items dry enough to put away. Very disappointed. Wouldn't buy this product again. Not enough options for you to control yourself. Good thing I don't have to use it very often.

That it uses less electric, but does not dry too much just right for ironing.

Bosch is often top of my list when looking for quality tools and appliances. This item is built to their usual high standards but, unfortunately, it has some significant issues.1) The door handle snapping off is a regular event. Fortunately an ebay shop provides easily sourced replacements and my frequent visits have earned them a bookmark in my browser.2) Tight tight tangles! The tumble doesn't have a reverse operation so quilt covers often knot themselves into a ball that's incredibly difficult to unravel. Frustration at this point inevitably results in ripped bedding.3) Condenser sensor malfunctions. This might be down to the volume of dog hair that goes through our wash cycle but every couple of months I have to take the side off the machine in order to clean the sensors. Unless this is done routinely, the tumble constantly cuts out due to a full condenser tank (even when the tank is empty). H&S compels me to suggest you get a qualified tumble-drier repair person to do this.4) Drying time. Despite seeming to reach volcanic temperatures (sufficient to melt USB sticks left in pockets) the drying cycle is very long. Only the highest setting (Extra Dry) comes close to wearable dryness and several hours are required to reach that point.I'm sorry to say that despite the obvious quality of Bosch products, this one has too many flaws to warrant a recommendation from me.

Excelent dryer I would recommend this to anyone. As a disabled person the water tank at the top is a brilliant idea.
