In love with Halsey!
Oh my gosh, I want to give Halsey the absolute biggest hug ever...this poor sweet and sensitive man has just been through so much. I did not expect that I'd be crying like a baby for the last few chapters, but how could I not. Seeing Halsey still trying to accept and work through the grief of losing his brother was an emotional ride.Meghan knocked it out of the park with another hilarious rom com that had me cracking up so many times when I wasn't crying! She never fails to deliver with the banter, tension, and spice. And I'm honestly living for the group chats in this series! I loved both Halsey and Blakely and how perfect they are for one another. The support and love is unmatched and I couldn't get enough!✨Roommates to lovers✨He falls first and HARD✨One bed✨Hockey romance✨Forced proximity✨Found familyThe audio for this book is a duet narration and absolutely phenomenal! The entire series has amazing audiobooks and the narrators really showcase the emotions in the book!

4.5 Heartfelt stars
I can’t believe it’s over!!! Only I’ve JUST learned it’s not! Whose next? Posey or new guy, O.C? For now, this book rounded out an amazing EOMCOM series that had me DYING in some spots and so emotional in other. Meghan Quinn has that balance that warms you up and makes you feel good. Now don’t get it twisted…this does NOT mean there is ANY missing spïce. 🥵😮💨nope! This book was 🔥🔥!! Just like every one proceeding it. Maybe a bit more tbh. No major break up, low drama, high good time leave you with a smile and wanting more. Blakely didn’t notice Halsey more so than his obvious good looks and gentle soul. SO not her type but pretty to look at all the same. While when Halsey saw HER it was love at first sight practically. With his twin brother dying in a car accident, he had been a shell of a man throughout the series and I wondered how Meghan was going to bring him out…well with a bang that’s how. This man was a dirty talking alpha in the bedroom and oh so commanding. 🤤😅yummy!! Once he and Blakely moved in together to help a girl out, they began to get to know each other on a deeper level and realized just how much they had in common after Hadley stopped tripping over his own feet and being too tongue tied to talk to his crush. 🤣😂 The antics he and the books got up to (just like in the other books so you can imagine) made me crack up so badly! They added one of the ladies to the mix as well as new guy to text group. Hilarious!! I listened and read of course because I absolutely LOVE Teddy Hamilton & Jason Clarke (2 of the narrators) and would happily listen to them read ingredients off a milk carton. The others did really well too (Erin Mallon, J.F. Harding & Kelsey Navarro-Foster)! All in all, I was sad to see this end but then elated to see another is coming out this summer. I cannot WAIT to see whose book it is and will do my best to wait for it to come out on audible. 😱

Favorite Book of the Year! Best Hockey Series ever!
✨ AUDIO + BOOK REVIEW ✨I have been delaying writing this review because that means it's over....THAT'S how much I loved this book. I love Meghan Quinn books and have real many of them, but I think this is my new favorite! Definitely one of my favorites of the year and of all time. This book is #4 in the Agitator Series and could be read as a standalone, BUTTTTT you are missing out big time if you don't read the first three. Just saying.📚 Story: ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️🎧 Audio: ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️🔥Spice Rating: ❤️🔥✨ Hockey Romance✨ He Falls First✨ Close Proximity + One Bed✨ Laugh Out Loud Funny✨ Grumpy SunshineHalsey is a professional hockey player for the Vancouver Agitators. After losing his twin brother in a car accident, he has turned into a quiet, reclusive man who spends his time reading, playing hockey and being with his teammates- not much more. That is, until he meets the beautiful Blakely. Blakely is loving everything about life. She has her dream job, lives in her dream city, and has friends who she couldn't imagine living without. After a sudden breakup with her longtime boyfriend, she's left to figure out her next move. When she is offered an extra room in the moody and quiet Halsey's apartment, she takes it. What could go wrong?By the end of this book, I was head over heels in love with all the characters. I miss them...maybe it's time for a reread already. If you love a cinnamon roll, sweet, quiet guy on the outside with some MAJOR alpha male vibes in the sheets, you are going to fall for Halsey. (Join the club, I'm a member). He is struggling with loss and heartache and is so raw and vulnerable as he navigates it. But ohhh man can this man TALK in the bedroom. I had to take a few breaks to catch my breath in Chapter 16. IYKYK. Then there's Blakely- she's sunshine in all ways but not in a bubbly airhead way- in an eternal optimist who loves life kind of way. I want to hang out with her and Penny. But the real star of this book (and the whole Agitator Series) is the banter and chemistry between all the boys on the team. This book had me laughing so hard that I cried- multiple times. It was hilarious. "Frozen Fellas, Assemble. Jesus Christ, they reported quickly."The audiobook was OFF THE CHARTS! I typically go back and forth from listening to an audiobook and reading on my kindle throughout a book and I found myself listening WHILE I read this book because I wanted to hear the narrators read to me... That's how good the audiobook was. I mean- BRAVO to the cast. They are some of my favorites on their own but together they were MAGIC! (Conner Crais and Erin Mallon seriously KILLED it.)

My heart!
I should probably sit on this review for a beat, considering I just finished this book, but ahh! It was so good. I really couldn’t put it down. Halsey is such a gentle man and honestly, his journey out of his shell was so beautiful, it gave me all the feels. I love that he was so caring and thoughtful. I loved his and Blakely’s journey. The steam in this book was also real! And the man banter- hilarious, I’ve read a lot of sports romance and the back and forth of this group of guys had me laughing out loud at points. Just a really great read!!

A beautiful read.
I was in love with the hockey series right from the first book with Pacey's story and this book just adds to it. Loved the character of Holden and the beautiful way this book ended. So happy to read about his happy ending with Blakely. Can't wait for Posey's and OC's story as well :)

My new favourite of the series!! Obsessed
Every single thing about this book was perfect, it’s totally stolen my heart and is by far my favourite of the series but also of all of Meghan’s works, which is insane considering how much I love Silas & Ollie. I’m just in awe of how beautiful and moving Halsey and Blakely’s story is, as well as being insanely funny and sexy. The chemistry after like 50% oh my god, I could not stop smiling and kicking my feet just giggling for these two!! The wedding, the dress shopping and the conversation with the landlord oh my god it was like a different side of Halsey finally came out and it was everything. I loved that he just grew in confidence and security around Blakely, and following his own instincts really was the way to go!! This man is everything you could have ever wanted and he doesn’t even see it. And the communication towards the end ahhh, yes let it all out and it went so well after they both pushed past their fears and put all their cards on the table. The spice in this is some of the best I’ve ever read, it was so hot and so sexy and the consent and respect between them was everything! The way these two can read each other was a dream, like there are not two people better suited or well matched. The last 30% really broke me, my heart was hurting for Halsey and everything he has been suffering with for all this time. His mother is for real pure evil and I hate her even though she’s not real. But the part with his brother was so emotional even though it was so short! I was very happy with that little part for closure. This friendship group is so special to me, the guys are all so dreamy and incredibly - both as friends/brothers and as lovers, the banter is so so good and I couldn’t get enough of the way respect and appreciation for women just underlies all of their words and actions. We need more men like them omg. Definitely excited for Posey’s book and maybe even OC! I’ve loved this series so so much and I’m not ready for it to be over!!
