If you are looking for something a bit more modern than the standard tall vase this is the one! It is unusual, would look great in a variety of settings and décor styles. The simple, elegant design really allows the contents to take center stage while remaining beautiful in its own right.I was looking for a vase sturdy enough to place lighted eucalyptus branches in without having to fill the bottom in order to disguise the branches and battery box. This vase is just perfect! It is tall enough to balance the branches, or any tall floral arrangement such as pampas grass or gladiolus stems. It has some heft to it, and is well balanced. It will not fall over. The shape is also ideal for this type of arrangement, as the branches tuck nicely into the base and fan out at the top with almost no effort in arranging.The description states that the vase has a "frosted" outer surface. What this means is that the surface is slightly rough, almost pebbly. I love this feature because it puts the emphasis on the shape and design without the fussiness of a shiny surface.Since I am using this vase for dry branches I do not have water in it. The item description states that it is fully water proof, but please note that the inside is only glazed about a third of the way up. This might mean that it could leach water through the rest of the surface. I have not tested this, and it might be just fine to fill it with water. I would suggest a test run on a surface that is protected just in case.The vase came nicely packed in cardboard and protected by a cut out foam material. Super secure and I have no doubt that storing the vase when it is not in use will be safe and easy. There is very little chance that it will get broken if kept in the original box.This is exactly what I was hoping for when I began to search for a vase. I am very happy with it!

This vase is unique in both it's design and texture. It has a minimal grainy feel, so it's not completely smooth. It's made of heavy ceramic and it's base is well balanced, so there is no wobbling. The measurements are exact. It looks beautiful with any type of bouquet, and I think it works well with decorations for all seasons. It's so sweet with its 'just picked' look, as the flowers are wrapped in paper and tied with a bow. You can leave it as it is, in the tan ceramic color, or you could paint it and make it your own! I appreciate vases like these that arrive as an empty canvas, so I can paint them. No matter how it is displayed, this vase will stand out and accentuate your gorgeous home decorations!

Well, no flowers, so I'm just going to press onward with a heartfelt review of this company and this vase, specifically.There's a bunch of adjectives you could use - charming, versatile, clever - I described it as a Fall vase - I can see it on a Thanksgiving table, festive with every color of Autumn. The bow is so delightful - makes this vase so unique and unexpected! The terracotta of this pottery delight fits into so many designs.And when we roll into the December holiday season, I can see it stepping up for those colors, because Christmas is all about a bow, too. : )I love it. I'm absolutely sure that you can't be unhappy with this vase full of flowers on your table.Needless to say: Recommended! Would be a wonderful bridal shower gift!

This vase is just as cute in person! I love the wrapped with a bow look. The bow is well crafted, looks like an actual bow. The color is like tawny /peach and it’s a neutral color.Feels and looks handmade, the finish is a slight texture.The interior appears only slightly finished. I had the perfect silk flowers for this. I redesigned my entire desk setup just so I could add the vase!
