These covers are well-crafted, visually appealing, and feel robust due to their thick, sturdy construction. However, potential buyers should note two things. First, the covers do not include a trim ring, which may be required for certain installations. Second, each cover was about 1/8 inch larger than my existing drains, making them initially incompatible with the recessed drain cans in my pool. I resolved this by carefully sanding the edges with a belt sander using my old cover to get the size correct, this allowed the covers to fit properly. The result is excellent my pool cleaner now operates smoothly without getting stuck. It’s unclear whether my pool’s drains are non-standard or if these covers are designed to sit atop the drain can rather than fit within a recessed space. Overall, with minor adjustments, I'm happy with these covers. See the pictures where you can see the difference between the new and old covers. The water makes the image a little distorted but you will get the idea.

Excellent buy. Fit perfectly for my inground Pentair pool. Good solid plastic and comes with stainless steel screws.

Custom Molded Products CMP 25507-100-000 8" Galaxy Drain Cover
Great built quality on this cover. I purchased a second one after I inspected the first one. My old ones were a bit yellow from many years of use. The pool supply wanted almost 3 times the price so you cant go wrong. I wish the seller would put the dimensions on the pictures. Also comes with different screws in stainless steel.

Size
Finally our pool person was able to install yesterday. Drains were just a bit the wrong fit and unable to install. Unfortunately, the return deadline has passed so we are unable to get a credit and return item.
