Sunco Lighting 4 Pack Double Sided LED Emergency EXIT Sign, Two LED Lights, Backup Battery, US Standard Red Letter Emergency Exit Lighting, Commercial Grade, 120-277V, Fire Resistant (UL 94V-0)every two years i get an inspection. and its always the lead acid batteries in my old exit signs that give me fits. these exit signs should eliminate that trouble. they are quite a bit smaller than the typical lead acid signs, so you will need touchup paint if you opt for the retrofit. at first test i couldnt get the lights to light. for some reason they have the battery disconnected from the motherboard. its in the instructions so it would have been better if i was more deliberate with my attention to manual details. nonetheless, i figured it out. but keep in mind you need to connect the battery wire harness to the motherboard! testing is simple with a button on the bottom so fire marshall shouldnt have any complaints. these dont seem super bright but in a dark room should be fine. they are smaller and low profile so like i said you may need touchup paint. all in all i am glad i got them. so tired of headaches from old tech.
