See @Becky's excellent review which hit most of the points I would make but I wanted to comment on a couple more nice features (and one not-so-nice).Pros:- The projection display has a focus and is very, very clear and LARGE -- it's great! Being RED, it also does not disrupt your sleep (unlike some other clocks with BLUE projections)- The temperature display is pretty accurate- The Automatic Time setting plus Automatic Daylight Savings adjustment is awesome- The slide switches for each alarm make it so easy to set and unset- The build just looks cool, slick and functional with no unnecessary labels and the buttons are all well labeled and discrete.One, somewhat major Con:- The photo sensor for automatic adjustment is located in back of the unit. This means that unless your light source is directly on top of it, it will tend to go into "dim" mode. This mode is great for sleeping, but during the day it makes the clock unreadable.Recommendation: This is excellent value-for-money, and a technologically superb clock in a sea of mediocrity. Like Becky, I've ordered and returned many clocks searching for the right combination of temperature display and readable, non-intrusive time and projection displays. This one is Almost Perfect!I would recommend two upgrades to this unit to the manufacturer to make this the perfect clock:1. Make the front display red instead of blue (Red light is more condusive to sleep)2. put the photo-sensor on the front instead of the rear of the unit.Nice Job Magnasonic!

A well-designed & intuitive clock with the 3 essential features I was looking for:1) Ability to control the brightness of the display2) Ability to control the volume of the alarm3) Two independent alarmsThe projection feature also works well, though I did not buy it for that reason. You can invert the numbers whichever way you want so it's never upside-down, and you can turn off the projection entirely if you don't want to use it. Note that the projected numbers are red, whereas the clock face is blue. If you're sensitive to light, you can turn the blue display off entirely; it has settings "High," which is very bright, "Low" which is pretty dim, "Auto", where it switches between high and low instantaneously according to the ambient light level, and "Off."I especially like that the display shows the time of each of 2 alarms, but only if they are set. This allows you to see at a glance whether your alarms are set, and to what times they are set. You can also turn off the alarm when it's sounding by pressing a button on the corner. This stops the sound, but does not unset it for the next day, which is nice.The buzzer sounds like a tinny Timex watch from the 70's, and being a light sleeper I found it loud even on the lowest setting, but setting it to wake to the radio solved that problem. I have it set to a classical station on the lowest volume, and that setting is just enough to wake me but not my husband.This clock also has true battery backup (CR2032). On some clocks, the battery only saves the settings in the event of a power outage. This clock does that, but it also keeps time and will sound the alarm correctly while the power is out. I tested it to be sure.Another nice feature: the alarms can be set to sound on weekdays only, if you so desire. In fact you can set it to alarm only on weekends, or only on a particular day of the week.Other features: USB charge port on the back, radio station presets, AUX IN port on the back, ability to choose whether to display the date or the ambient temperature.And I learned to use all these features without cracking open the manual--it's perfectly intuitive!The only real con is that there's not quite enough contrast between the digital numbers and the background, which can make it hard to read, but only if you're within a couple feet of the clock. From a distance, it's really not an issue.I spent an embarrassing amount of time searching for a clock with the 3 features above. So glad I found this one!

Excellent product overall. I got it so I could see the time projected on my ceiling, and so I could charge my phone by night with the USB plug. It is super easy to set up and the buttons are labeled nice & clearly. I am giving it 4 stars and not 5, since I had some problems. First one I ordered (which was $24.99 btw) arrived with a loose/wobbly projection arm. I emailed the seller with photos, and they verified I got a bad one. Ordered a second time ($29.99), and Amazon lost my package at the facility. Third time was a charm though! Got my clock and this one has a tighter projection arm. It keeps accurate time, looks nice on bedside table, and best part of all: a built in, long-lasting battery so if the power goes out, I don't have to re-do the time and all my settings.

This clock has all the features I wanted and very easy to navigate and use. I am not big on technology. I went to the video on Amazon to set it up. Sooo easy! It plugs into the wall unit. The clock shows time, day of the week and you can choose to show the inside temp or full date. The radio has many channel selections, good reception and excellent sound. The dual alarms are very easy to change and reset. You can choose radio or alarm sound for wake up. The clock buttons are all easy to use. I do not have to roll over to see the time. The red projection on ceiling is a nice size and can be rotated easily for the best angle. And can be turned off or on. Its sturdy and a nice size for my night stand.The only negative feature is: When you unplug the clock from the wall you need to use a small screwddiver to open up where the disc battery is and remove battery for 20sec. and reinsert the disc battery to turn back on. I hope this feature Magnavox will fix. But I do not plan to relocate and unplug this clock from the wall often.

I'VE HAD IT FOR A WEEK NOW.I COULD GO ON AND ON WITH MY LIKES....- the colon does NOT blink at you like other clocks do; it is motionless : )- very nice blue colour- the projector is terrific (easy to read on my ceiling)- automatic daylight savings time (no need to reset the clock)- the clock radio is my alarm in the morning and shuts itself off (I like the 30 minutes shut off as that is how long it takes me to get out of bed after the alarm sounds)- it displays the date, including the day of the week- it displays what time you have the alarm set to, as well as which type of alarm you chose- the radio sounds just fine- the display can go completely dark at the press of a button, while the projector remains shining onto my ceiling, so the room is nice and dark, but I still know the timeThere are lots of other nice features which I don't use, like bluetooth, usb charging outlet.DISLIKES:- it's a bit tricky to access the preset radio stations...one has to use a tiny button at the rear of the unitThis clock is a winner. It's beautiful. Functional. Makes me very happy! I wanted a 2nd one!I first bought the CR65, but my 2nd purchase was this CR64 instead-- the newer model CR65 had doubled in price. I think the main difference is the newer one has bluetooth.

Purchased to replace another clock radio. We were impressed by the quality and really like the time projected on the wall at night. It is not so bright as to cause any issue and very easy to read for both of us as opposed to trying to view a regular clock. The only small issue is that the volume is not very adjustable. Either slightly to quiet or slightly to loud.

Love this product, was easy to install, works great! My favorite part is having the time on the ceiling so it is easily viewable at night! Love it!

I would give this clock 5 stars but didn't because of the issues I have listed below. Other than that I like the clock and specially the projection is very bright and clear, easy to use. I don't need to go through the pain of looking for my night clock anymore. The radio worked fine and having two alarms is very nice to have although I don't need that and have not tried it.Setting is easy and I learned the whole thing in a minute or soOverall I recommend this product.Below are the two reasons that held me back a bitFirst, I received the clock and noticed the backup battery is dead so every time I unplugged it everything would be factory reset and have to do from scratch!Second, The screen brightness can be set only between Low, High, Off or Auto and there is no medium. Low is really low so much that you cannot read in the day and high is a bit too high in the night and I didn't like the auto feature because it couldn't adjust the brightness to my satisfaction (this can be personal feeling)

Bought this clock for my 12 year old daughter. She was able to set up the time, alarms, projection and connect her phone for audio with no assistance. Very easy to use, good volume level and the projection is fantastic.The auto dimming does require some good light in the room to really be effective, so those that feel it doesn't work very well, it could just be that the sensor can't pick up the room light from where it it's sitting.I'm thinking about buying another one of these for the master bedroom now, it's that good!
