Ingenuity: ity by Ingenuity Flip & Sit Potty Seat (White) – Easy to Set Up & Remove Potty Training Seat That Attaches to Adult Toilet Seat

I love this little potty seat for my 4 yo grandson. One of the complaints I noticed in the reviews was that it wouldn’t stay stuck to the toilet lid, so I chose to use the command Velcro strips to attach it. It gives a much larger sticking surface, and I can remove it and clean it good, then Velcro it back up. So far it’s held on great. My only complaint would be that the bottom side has legs that fit down in the ring of the toilet seat, when it’s lowered for the child to use, and they do stick out when this seat is folded up. I’m a larger sized person, and while they don’t poke in my back, someone really large would probably find it to be an issue when they sit down to potty.

It saves a lot of space and is convenient because you don’t have to empty a potty bucket into it. It offers a potty training solution without having to mess much with the contents. Downside is that the part that sticks to the back of the seat isn’t very strong. It detached fairly quickly. Also, my toddler seemed to sit oddly on it. Maybe it was big for her when we started. She would pee up on top of it instead of being able to pee into the toilet, if I wasn’t attentively helping her. My assumption was that this was because of it being a bit too wide for her at that time. It is fairly light and not too much of an eyesore. When the toilet is closed, you can’t tell it is there. Due to the weak glue, both hands should be used to open the closed seat - easier said than done when hastily trying to get a toddler on the toilet. Maybe this would last longer if it wasn’t constantly being locked back upwards.

Fit my toilet seat very wonky and the foam adhesive was already stuck to the packaging. I was unable to attach it to the toilet seat. Upon further inspection I realized I received a returned item. That explains why the foam was used and not usable anymore.

This isn’t what we thought it was going to be. I thought this was going to be an actual adult seat replacement with the potty seat attached. It’s actually just a potty seat that you command strip to your toilet seat cover. Although it wasn’t what we thought, we decided to keep it. It worked well at first. Now we are 2 months in and it’s lost its stickiness and has fallen off. It also hurts when you put the potty seat up and want to use the adult seat and lean back. It sticks you in your back.

This product didn't end up working out for me in the end because I have an RV toilet, not a regular household one. It didn't fit correctly on my seat (too long for my short seat) and caused me to not be able to close the lid. But on a normal toilet, it would work great. The sticky part doesnt ruined the seat either or leave a terrible residue upon removal. Easy to clean and install.

These were perfect for us during those potty training days. This also helped my little one WANT to use the “big toilet” because she knew she had a seat comfortable and small enough for her. The adhesive sticks and it stays on without budging. If you’re potty training or just have a little one whose not comfy or used to the “big toilet” then this is the best option.

Love, love love this! I’ve only had one issue with the adhesive falling off and it was because I allowed the chemicals I used to clean the toilet to sit and seep and l loosen it. I haven’t had a problem since. My 23 month old sits comfortably with no problem. He doesn’t wobble or fall through nor fall off, it’s perfect for potty training. If your little one has a stepping stool to get themselves up and down it wouldn’t be an issue for them to use it on their own. I wouldn’t say this product is made for traveling due to the need for it to be adhered to a toilet seat and it didn’t come with adhesive replacements. It is super easy to clean the top, if there is an issue with getting anything underneath, which I haven’t had a problem yet, the ridges would make it a little less of an easy cleanup but nothing too difficult. 10/10 would recommend

Worked well for a few months, but then the adhesive back stopped sticking and now it falls off after each use. Too late to return. I’d recommend trying a different brand if you plan on using this for longer than a few months.

I wish I hadn't bought this. It just doesn't fit my toilet. When my son sits on it, it caves in at the front underneath him, unless we "shimmy" the seat forward, but then the lid starts falling on him from behind. It would be nice if it came with instructions to measure up before you purchase rather than "fits most toilets". I have the most standard toilet in the world measuring 45cm from fixings to front of bowl, and 35cm across the longest 'diameter' of the bowl... so I don't think they can claim it fits most toilets as I see I'm not the only one with this issue.

Doesn't fit at all. And after applying this you cannot close the lid

Is extremely small.. if the kids pee in it, it will come out.. is useless .. don’t buy it .. I don’t recommend it
