(Refurbished) Asus ZenWatch 2 1.63-inch Smartwatch (Silver, Brown)

This is a very classy watch. The set up was a bit of a trial (still don't have it all done) but have the basics working. Got to say the condition of the refurbished watch was truly amazing. Very pleased. The battery life isn't as good as some. Under normal use, I get a day and a half and this works for me as I charge it every night.

This is my second Zenwatch 2 (The first one's battery finally started not holding a full-day's charge after 3 year, and the screen showed AMOLED burn-in). This time I bought the bigger one. There is a great variety of nice looking watch faces and they're easy to change and customize. I would suggest anyone that buys this watch change the face at least every few days, as the screen is AMOLED and will burn in eventually if you keep the same watch face, especially those with the bold white numbers.The watch is light, comfortable, and fits snugly on the wrist, and the band looks to be good quality and has little nubs that make for easy removal. Also it's a standard watch size so bands are available anywhere, and you don't have to pay custom watch prices.It does a great job of basic fitness tracking (no heart rate monitor though), quick check of notifications and calls, and can run apps even without the phone. It paired easily with my Honor 7X and keeps a stable connection. While I haven't tried it with this one, I was able to use my old one while swimming without and issues.This refurbished one came in perfect shape except that the charging cable seems defective. It doesn't stay connected and charging. The cable from my old watch works fine so I know the problem is with the cable and not the watch. Because of the good price I won't take a star off for the cable.

First of all, I was considering give 2 stars to this watch, but it is what it is. It was released in 2015 and the Android Wear version is 2.0. Some of the features doesn't work OK or doesn't work at all. Can't get rid of the Error DF-DFERH-01 when try to use the play store. The camera control doesn't work, can't download anything from the play store, facedesigner doesn't upload the files. The voice commands doesn't work when you try to call someone or send a message. You can select from the contacts in your watch and made the call. You can't send a message directly from the watch, however you can answer any message from a notification. You can control the music reproduction of your phone directly from the watch but you can't download or reproduce music directly from your watch. All notifications seems to work OK except for the clock alarms. I have a third party alarm App, that works just fine. The calendar is very limited, you can see any appointments of same day or next day, but can't navigate to other dates. It's internal reminders, alarms, chronograph and timer works OK. The Asus ZenFit works OK, podometer and sleep monitor but can't make work the exercise monitor, well didn't try too much neither, test it twice and it stopped after less than a minute. Search phone function works OK, weather and translator Apps also works OK. Have not tested any reminding features, not too many. It actually does 75% of the features I was looking for, the most important by the way. The best part is it's price. Can't find anything close to it for less than almost 3 times it's price.

the watch is great, can't beat the price, sold on asus, going for the zen 3, but zen 2 works perfect with my android, glad i did some researching before i bought something different,, and i did not want another sim card, so this watch covered all the basics and then somethank you asus
