This is a USA product and dangerous to use in UK even with and adapter
UK citizens, looking at the photo of the product YIHUA 8858-IV SOLDERING HOT AIR GUN, it looks okay, but you cannot see the plug. It reads OK in the description, but you probably, like me, haven't scrolled down to the bottom of 'more details'. So, it has a 2-pin plug and it's made in the USA. I checked and this item is DANGEROUS TO USE IN THE U.K EVEN IF USING AN ADAPTER. There is serious risk of overheating, electrocution and fire.

Yihua 8858 Multi-Purpose Heat Gun Is An Excellent Tool For SMD Solder Work Good Design & Controls
I found the Yihua 8858 IV Multi-Purpose Heat Gun to be an excellent tool. The controls for temperature and fan speed function as expected and are well placed. The Heat Gun heats up very fast and the standby mode worked well even the Flip-Up Stand with care. I used the small nozzle and performed a SMD solder rework. My 2015 Jeep Wrangler radio had the typical cold solder FM chip problem. I set the Heat Gun at 450F and made 3 circling passes, 15s long, over the FM chip while holding downward pressure and pausing to cool. Radio is fine now. This Heat Gun is perfect for this type of use. Thank you for a great product. DMWorrel

Great tool.
Awesome tool for those that need help on removing old stubborn solder (like a Commodore 64 board). Works great and the attachments help me get the heat to where I want it unlike other guns that'll melt everything else but what you're trying to remove. Inexpensive and quality tool that every hobbyist and tinkerer needs.

A solid cheap alternative
Cheap and gets the job done, I have a soldering iron from the same company and it’s been a game changer for my soldering work. So I took a chance on this lil hot air station, mostly cause I lacked the funds for the nicer one. Although it lacks air speed, it definitely makes up for with pure heat. I used this to help me desolder and resolder a Xbox series X hdmi port, and although it was my first time doing such a job. It came out a success, yay! Naturally due to its low fan speed, you’ll have to increase the temp by a few hundred degrees to achieve the same result as a much bigger hot air station…. But if there’s a will, there’s a way. I also love how small it is, so it’s easier to stow away when I’m not doing electrical work.

Good, but not for low-set electrical outlets
Very nice heat gun for the price. Personally I’d like a longer cord. If you are plugging it into a more low-set outlet and the cord has to travel upwards a ways to your desk, the cord limits the gun’s maneuverability. If your outlet is close to the level you’ll be using the gun at, it’s fine.
