I ordered this set of special utensils for my elderly father. He has trouble holding and using regular flatware. He has recently begun using this set of adaptive utensils and finds them extremely helpful. They are much easier to grip and he does not drop them on the floor! Thank you for making available such an attractive and handy product.

I purchased these utensils for a family member with Parkinson's. Good quality. Handles are made from a durable rubber product and are nicely textured for grip. The knife is serrated, and will be able to cut through meat. The business end of the utensils are made from good quality stainless. I judge my utensils by the bend in the fork and the length of the tines. Both passed my test for comfort and smoothness. I appreciated the note inside of the box suggesting they be hand washed. These shipped quickly. I would buy from this site again.

Giving this to may father (87) who has dementia and the shakes. I noticed it was hard for him to hold a regular fork so I thought this set would be helpful to him. When I received the package I opened it up to see how sturdy they were made. Very happy how sturdy they are and they have nice big rubber handles that I think will help him a lot! I have not given these to him yet but I'm excited to see how he likes them. I would give these a high rating for sturdiness and for a great handle!!!

I have ostio-arthritis in my hands which prevents me from holding a variety of implements and tools with control. Cutting food is difficult with standard utensils. These utensils make it easy for me to to cut food into bite sized portions without pain or spilling it over the table. They are adaptive in that they can be bent or shaped to proper alignment for individual needs.The handles are of sufficient diameter and texture to enable me to hold them firmly without pain or fear of dropping them. I take them to resIaurants in a plastic bag. No pushback from the restaurants. I should have purchased these particular utensils a long time ago.

After reading several reviews , we decided to purchase these utensils for our mother. She suffered a stroke on Feb 1, 2019, and was in two different rehab centers before being discharged home. The utensils have red handles as OT recommended bright colors for her. She was able to grip the handles easily and feed herself. We hand washed after each use so they were readily available for her. Easy to clean and very sturdy. Price was very reasonable . We would purchase these again should the reason arise.

Thank you Pulse Brands for an excellent product & quick service. This was an early Christmas present and well received. These utensils are exactly as described and perfect for my 90+ yr. old dad who has lost a great deal of sensation in his hands/fingers. We had attempted the utensils ($40) that were weighted but they were way too heavy and would drop out of his hands. These are perfect and he can get a good grip on them while eating. They also wash up easily. Glad we bought these and we'll be back for another set.

I got these for my father who is 92 and has Parkinsons. The oval rubber grips are perfect for a secure hold. He says the serrated knife is great! The blunt tines on the fork don't seem to be a problem for him as reported by others. He is in a long-term care facility and they wash them along with everything else and they seem to be holding up well, but he's only had them for a couple of weeks. We would recommend them.

I received the set in excited that it would be a Christmas gift for my mom. She shakes so bad when eating. So i though ooo. So when they got in i was so excited. I had to open them and try them out. My mom could not use them with her trimmers and shaking..everything still fell off and she got upset all over again. So i said that is fine. I am glad you tried it and i sent them back with no issue. Hoping someone else would get what they need. Just a note if you mom or loved ones shake really bad it will not help them ;)
