It came to my house not in the brand name packaging and was rock solid

EDIT - NOT CONSISTENT: I've got three. One was hard. The second one was a bit softer and more pliable. The third my sister gave me because she felt bad and it was super soft and squishy which I loved, but there was not enough clay sand or whatever is inside of it to fill it. The contents inside are plastered to all sides except one (which is different than my first two) and there is a huge amount of air, so that is annoying. You squeeze and it bubbles out pretty far. LOLThe upside is that it's inexpensive, considering it's size and all. So it's not a bad deal. You just don't know what you are going to get!Also, if you have a harder one it does soften with time and squeezes (lots of them)**********************************************************I actually bought and gave away my first one because it was hard and not very soft. I bought a second and it wasn't as hard as the first one, but the more you squeeze it, the softer it gets. It's very thick and durable. Even the one I gave to my coworker has loosened up a bit. So don't be too quick to dismiss this thing! Eventually it becomes very pliable and more pleasant to work with. At first, it wasn't very relaxing. LOL
