CHITA 112" Modular Sectional Sofa, 3 Seat Modular Couch, Blue

My partner and I have debated over this couch for six whole months. We were thinking of getting the Cozey couch, but the price kept putting us off (and they never seem to go on sale) We knew we wanted something modular, something affordable, but also something that would last us a long time. The cushions were. Quite firm out of the box, but are new perfect after sitting on it for a few days. It feels of good quality and was easy to put together by yourself. Deep cushions, good size, good quality. Only thing I’m sad about is waiting so long to pull the trigger.

This is a great sitting couch, but is too shallow to enjoy laying on it. I would give it 5 stars if it wasn’t for how shallow it is.

I’ve been looking for a couch for our large living room (18x18) for so long and this modular couch is the perfect fit! We had to make it work using several different designs, but it was totally worth it! The assembly was very easy. We ended up not even using the instructions after awhile. It’s very comfortable and provides so much extra seating for our large families. The one piece was missing brackets, but after reading other reviews and seeing others’ experiences with their customer service, I’m not too concerned that we won’t be able to get those. The structure seems good, but I did hear a few cracks when moving the furniture so I do have concerns for how long it’ll last (will update in time). The ottomans have a nice Velcro system to attach the cushion to the base, but none of the other cushions have it so hopefully the cushions don’t slide. Overall, I am VERY happy with our purchase and I love the way to looks!

COUCH PILLOWS Although I purchased an armless chair from Chita, I am submitting this review for anyone dealing with those back pillows! 🤯 Recently we bought this chair. As you may know it’s part of a modular system. Whether you buy piece by piece or all at once, there was a huge problem for me: THAT HORRIBLE BACK CUSHION! The fact that it didn’t fill its cover and looked cheap and droopy. Adding insult to injury, it wasn’t comfortable. I wasn’t sure if it’s drooping caused the discomfort, but I was upset - it ruined the arrival of the chair that I’d been so excited about! I hate to think of someone going through what I did, so here are the things to avoid: * Trying to beat the pillow and the case into submission, straightening the case and then trying to shape and beat the [as of yet] unseen pillow to fill the cover. You can do some kickboxing exercises or workout with a punching bag - or you can perform the action I just described. The cover/pillow was no worse for the wear. Me? After 30-45 minutes of being so sure I could make it happen, I was sweating profusely with an elevated heart rate. My smart watch was very proud of my effort. Stupid watch; if it were that smart it would’ve told me what to do instead, right?!?! 🙄 Seeing as it looked just the same and I was a wreck, I had a “brilliant” idea… 💡 * I ordered shredded memory foam. I had no clue how much I would need. Since you can buy as much as 30-50 pounds, I knew I didn’t need that much, but had no idea what I’d need. I bought a 5 pound bag for $21.99. I chose it because of the 4.5⭐️ rating, sure, but mainly because of the next day 4-8AM delivery. I had no intention of looking at those pillows any longer than I had to- or sitting on them. I’m 55 years old - my body can hurt if I sneeze. So those pillows? ❌❌❌ When it arrived (yesterday, Aug 8, 2025 @ 5AM), I excitedly opened the dehydrated bag - I could almost hear the memory foam choking - so of course I immediately cut it out 😂. OH. NO. NO. NO. ☠️ I should’ve let it choke. If you have no idea how much 5 POUNDS OF MEMORY FOAM IS, I pray you never do. So please trust me, memory form is NOT your answer. I’ll go a step further for the non-believers: One, opening that bag of small, shredded foam pieces will make you want to walk straight into the ocean and never look back. Especially when your 3 inside dogs see it and go into party mode. I’ll be finding pieces of that stuff next year; and the dogs? It’s TMI, and I hate to be gross but their pooping memory foam for a week is inevitable. I can only imagine the confusion of the kid who’ll cut our grass next week. Two, and PLEASE, this is the most important reason: the pillow inside doesn’t have a zipper, but the cover does. So if you stuff memory foam into it, you’ll deal with it every time you need to wash those covers. * I thought my only option for this situation would be to start buying a pillow at a time to see if anything worked. Dream on, sister. Do you know how many pillows I’d have been receiving & returning only to try again with another? Probably every pillow Amazon has & then start over at other places because….. * Those zipper covers are SO BIG compared to the pillow inside. That cover isn’t king size. It took me a while to come to that realization. Sadly. ** Note: Although the inside pillow is floppy and way too soft, IT IS a king size pillow. Even if it had been more full & firm, it still wouldn’t have worked for those droopy corners. The huge size of the chair seats requires a very wide/large back cover. I buried the lead, which is coming. Some of you don’t like to read and will have already gone to the end - who could blame you? I just want to ask you the same question I ask myself, which you are not obliged to answer: Why doesn’t the company (Chita) include either a “special sized” pillow for the odd sized case, OR use the trick I’m about to show you? I imagine they suffer many returns due to those sad looking back pillows. If you’ve been with me this whole time, thanks- your troopers- but I hope this helps both the troopers & the skimmers: you need to find “Amazon Basics Down-Alternative Pillows for Stomach and Back Sleepers, Soft Density, 20 x 36 inches, 2-Pack”. A 2-pack is currently $26.99, and I agree that you shouldn’t have to be burdened with spending more money, but it’s Chita’s fault - not Amazon’s. Before I digress, let’s continue. You quick skimmers are going to curse my name when you open the new pillows because they are about as floppy as the originals. Just know I wouldn’t have written this novel (nor taken pictures) if it didn’t work. Im trying to save you, take my hand and don’t drown me in the process: add the new droopy king size pillow to the cushion. Yes, with the original also in the cushion. Now you have 2 king size floppy pillows, sure, but be glad they’re floppy because that makes them cooperative and pliable. You can work with them and it will absolutely fill that cushion. No more issues there. Lastly, there’s one problem but thankfully it’s temporary. Once they’re adjusted you’ve got to zip that cover. It was about as difficult as helping a friend pull on her Spanx that she bought for a wedding she meant to lose 10 lbs for - and then didn’t. I worked myself to death and then found the answer. Take the pillow down onto the floor fast. Like you’re a TV cop and you’ve just nabbed the perp. Get your knee on its back and press as hard as you can with that knee and your hand. It won’t be too easy, but a lot easier than what I did before I discovered the TV cop/perp solution. The pictures shown are as follows: 1. Sad pillow in its protective satin/ivory colored cover; 2. Sad pillow removed from protective cover & what it looks like - if you haven’t already seen it. If so, you know there’s 4-5 inches of empty space that’s evident when lifted at the top; 3. The big reveal- how it looks with the two pillows inside & the same cover. Picture 4 is the very last piece of advice. It will probably mean nothing to you if you’re NOT the one who’ll be cleaning the protective covers (like me 😒). Thanks to my dog Ellie, who gets into everything, I discovered a little trick to removing dirt easily. I can’t promise they’ll work on every cover material, but I imagine they’ll work on more than my velvet ones - which BTW, I love more than the actual couch material. If you have one of those power scrubbers that come along with a sponge- and you’ve *never* used it- you can run it under water, squeeze it out & attach. Using the scrubber’s highest power, run that sponge over the dirty area. I was ecstatic to see it lifted the stain very well. Added bonus: because the sponge had most of the water removed, the area felt 98% dry just as soon as I was done. I included a picture of the sponge I used with the spinner hand piece (which is really going to confuse those skimmers - hahaha skimmers!). ~~ If you don’t know about the scrubbers/ sponge I’ve referred to, the one I used for this is the “Leebein Electric Spin Scrubber, Cordless Cleaning Brush Bathroom Scrubber”. But if you look that up it’ll show you a ton of different scrubber types to choose from- just make sure it has a sponge. Seriously, doesn’t that double stuffed pillow with case look so much better? Most items like this adjust to normal quickly, so even though I know the shape still looks slightly odd, I have no doubts it’ll adjust soon. I hope this helps and that I’ve saved the lives of people who might’ve walked straight into the ocean without finding a solution. Happy stuffing! :)

Definitely not a lounging sofa, Easy assembly but you receive the sofa in parts (days spaced). The quality is not that good I think but two years it will be falling apart. The seating area is very narrow unless you’re really skinny, you wanna remove the back cushion to be comfortable. The color is beautiful and it a really long sofa.
