I haven't installed them yet but have wired them up on my electronics bench to test them out before attempting to mount them (best to know they work rather than waste time with something that is non-functional)!They work just fine ... plug them in they charge up ... unplug them they turn on and stay on till the battery is exhausted!I added an ON/OFF switch to mine so if the electric goes out in the daytime and I have plenty of light filtering in through the windows and doors, I can flip the switch and turn them off rather than having them run till the battery goes dead.Good product ... fairly well thought out design ... and it works so I'm pleased with them!

Excellent light you can adjust each set of lights to light up the area you need light up in a power outage they have like a small arm that allows you to adjust it very well. You can replace the backup battery and there’s a red light ( very small ) to let you know the light is working and is on standby pushing the red light will test it. They look very nice and modern and very bright LED lights

Design of unit blends well in Residential environments. Not bulky and obtrusive like industrial models.Mounted above my doorbell chime for 2 reasons:1. Unit is similar to size and design of doorbell chime so it does not look out of place.2. Easy access to 120V line side of Chime Transformer which is mounted in closet directly behind wall.Mounts like a typical fixture, multiple keyhole knockouts on backplate to match required[not included] electrical outlet box .

Other devices that have the bracket and the head separate will use the bracket as a base that's wired to the box behind the bracket. Then you attach the head and it connects via metal contacts. But NOT this device. With this one, the head has wires that go through the bracket. So you have to feed the wires through the bracket, and connect the wires (while holding both pieces). Then you have to attach the bracket while holding the head. Very poor design.

Its not hard to install you just need to remember to make sure the board lines up when putting it back on. and that the power is off 277volts dose give you a little jolt

battery life is short

Good light and pretty bright will buy it again. also power last longer
