Perfect small sized vice. Nice and square too.
I wanted a small holding vice for various things and got one that was far too large first. This one is great. Not too small, not too big. I've attached a photo for size so you don't make the same mistake I did.

Best vice for the price
Vice is ground square and the screw is smooth without any binding the full legnth. Plenty accurate for most of my gunsmithing work.

A really nice vice
I agree with another reviewer, it's not quite a machinist's vice. But it is a really high quality drill press vice. Most of the surfaces are ground and the fit is good. All the edges have a light chamfer.A couple of minor criticisms, there was a bit of paint on and a small amount of rust on the underside of the sliding jaw ways and a touch of paint in the closing screw threads which made operation a bit rough in places. Cleaning that off made it operate much more smoothly. There was also a bit of roughness in one section of the closing thread. I also found that the laser engraved manufacture's emblem was raised a couple of thousandths above the ground surface. I'm not sure if that would ever cause me a problem, but a light rub with a smooth stone removed the high points. If these were the only issues I would have given it an easy five stars as one shouldn't expect perfection at this price. The nut and Allen cap screw (see photo) that hold the block that slides along the underside of the "ways" was an issue. Both were not even finger tight. Just tightening them wouldn't have been an effective fix because they adjust the tightness of the jaw on the "ways" and if made tight enough to not work loose the jaw wouldn't move. For this I marked it down, but only by one star because the fix is relatively easy. The long set screw apparently does double duty as the retainer for the tightening screw in the jaw and a place for the nut. My fix will be to remove both screws and clean the threads in the jaw. The cap screw will be replaced with another long set screw and both will be held from turning with a tiny drop of Loctite. The nuts will be replace by nylon insert locking nuts which will allow the jaw to be adjusted without the nuts coming loose.I wouldn't hesitate to buy another if I needed a small vice of this style.

Nice fire a vice, not a tool makers vice
Not really a tool makers vice, but for a small vice it is nice. I replaced the Jaws with Cooper and I love it. Screws are even SAE.
