Product Description LP includes one 140-gram vinyl desertcart.com This debut by the L.A.-based quartet is a hybrid of explosive rap-metal, politically incendiary lyrics, and wide-ranging cultural influences. The members are of Armenian descent, but their diverse stylistic background transcends easy cultural labeling. Singer Serj Tankian's throaty roar competes with any mosh-pit rocker around, but his real trademark is his emotional wail and refreshingly melodic singing, especially on songs such as "Spiders" and the condemnatory "P.L.U.C.K." Guitarist Daron Malakian, bassist Shavo Odadjian, and drummer John Dolmayan lock in tight on the capricious arrangements of "Know," "Ddevil," and "CUBErt." Their musical diversity runs wonderfully wild on "Sugar" and "Suggestions" with dizzying shifts of style and intensity. Pacco arrivato nei tempi previsti, ben imballato e senza danni. Un classico nu-metal di fine anni 90: la versione in vinile da una carica in più a questo album, che già in origine nasce con un sound molto sporco e distorto. Felice di aver ampliato la mia collezione, consiglio agli appassionati!

Nach mehr als zwei Jahrzehnten und unzähligen Stunden des Hörgenusses, ist Toxicity immer noch eines der besten Alben der letzten 25 Jahre. Um einige ebenbürtige Platten vor dieser Zeit zu nennen: Alice in Chains „Dirt“ oder Rage Against The Machine „dito“, auch die Meilensteine von TOOL Aenima und Lateralus suchen und finden hier ihres Gleichen. Ich muss gestehen, ich finde zu den System Of A Down Alben Mezmerize und Hypnotize überhaupt keinen Zugang. Steal This Album macht es mir ebenfalls nicht leicht. Auch hier bin ich nicht überzeugt. Nachdem ich also bei YouTube diverse Stunden mit Lowlands Festival 2001 und Big Day Out 2002 verbracht habe, bestellte ich nun das Album „System Of A Down“ als MP3 Download und sofort danach auch als CD. Was ich hier vorfand, übertrifft alle meine Erwartungen. Diese musikalische Droge macht sofort süchtig! Hier fehlt m.E. tatsächlich ein Warnhinweis. Das Album kommt mit maximaler Wucht und explodiert wie eine Atombombe im Kopf. Toxicity und SOAD sind für mich untrennbar verbunden. Ebenfalls ein Meisterwerk. Empfehlungen sind hier: Suggestions, Spiders, War, Sugar, Know, Soil. Warum hat das bei mir nur so lange gedauert? Besser spät als nie. Mit 45 kann ich dieses Biest besser verdauen als mit 20. Volle 5 Sterne.

Les débuts furieux et déjantés de ce groupe unique, engagé et déjanté. Comme un Faith No More en son temps, SOAD est inclassable et développe un son aussi Metal que varié...Très varié. Dans ce premier album qui reste plus brutal que son illustre successeur on trouve de quoi headbanguer, mais on reste surpris par la folie ambiante qui part dans tous les sens...Jusqu'à un moment " circus" qui à l'époque m'avait mis un sourire de stupéfaction pas possible! Pas forcément accessible pour les fans de Heavy traditionnel, ce premier album d'une trilogie fantastique est toujours aussi redoutable 26ans plus tard. À écouter comme on regarde " Pulp Fiction " pour vous donner une idée!

Obra maestra, primer álbum d este grupo, su música fue un gran impacto, una fusión única entre raíces árabes y hardcore, para mí las obras iniciales d mis bandas favoritas son esenciales y este álbum lo confirma, impresionante y imprescindible
