Updated: Seller promptly sent me a new toner to teplace the faulty one. Great customer service!I've used off brand toners before and had great luck, but this one was awful. It leaves a black line on the sides of my paper. It's a nee toner, bit the print color is uneven as if my printer is low on toner. Very disappointed!

The toner leaves black lines down the right hand side of every page it prints. I hoped it would improve over time, but it hasn't. If anything it's gotten a bit wider.Edit: I contacted the seller and they sent me a replacement immediately that works perfectly. I've bumped up the star rating because of how quickly and no hassle they resolved the problem.

I replaced the chip as instructed but it didn't work. The printer kept saying to replace the toner. I had to return it.

I have been using this toner for about four months. I bought two, and I am still using the first toner. I thought that moving the chip would be complicated, but it is not complicated at all, the toner box brings the instructions and the tool needed to move the chip from one place to the other without breaking it. This toner was the only one that could be shipped to Puerto Rico. Everything arrived in perfect conditions and works great!

I see no difference this this toner and the brand name, and this one is half the price! will buy every time!

I like the value of the toner cartridge when printing text only. When I try to print a clip art image, the toner doesn't completely cover the solidly filled areas well. It leaves small spots with no ink that should be completely filled.

I was able to figure out the chip transfer, although the printer and software keep showing low toner right from the start. But there really is low toner in this cartridge. I don't know how the 3000 page capacity was calculated, but I've barely printed 1000 pages of text so far and the cartridge is already showing fading throughout the page. Not worth it. And now you can find cartridges with a built-in chip, so something like this is obsolete.

I usually get my toners refilled at a local shop. Thought it wouldn’t hurt to try this toner because they have a 100% money-back guarantee. I agree with another reviewer: I can’t see any difference between the genuine Brother toner and this one. It also has an attached sticker and screwdriver to make it easy to transfer the chip from the old cartridge onto this one. Took me around 2 minutes to make the transfer.
