Runs perfect. 10/50 VR1 Valvoline oil. Ethanol free 87 octane. First oil drain after 10 minutes of running, full of metal; hopefully it's the normal amount for breaking. The engine runs great and cranks every time.

Very disappointed, my husband installed this on my grandson’s go kart. After filling with oil and crank to circulate the oil, the engine started leaking oil around the shaft seal and block gasket. Amazon was great allowed me to return and evidence a full credit. 5 stars to Amazon. 0 stars for product quality ( also on tag it stated add water before starting engine) what’s up with that?

I gotta give a huge thanks to the company, I live in Hawaii, not one other company in amazon would send meban engine. There's really no reason for it rather then being to lazy to pack it and ship it which you do for every other order, I don't know what the difference is? It's VOUT 40 lbs. So USPS will ship flat rate. I recommend you buy from these guys because they go above and beyond every other seller on amazon. I went through them all multiple times seeing if I could trick em by changing address but it was Hawaii so automaticalky it's I or some say unavailable but as soon as you change you address to a California residence alnof a sudden they magically have in stock again, which is a sad way to practice business in my opinion. Purchased this engine when my 100cc broke. I realized from reading comments that camshaft was nylon. Not to mention there is almost no info about this particular engine online. But it is just the same as a predator 212 and all the other Honda clones. I ordered this $20 camshaft and installed that before ever starting it. Honestly was an impulsive buy and was afraid it would be a dud. To my surprise I'm more then happy with the power, the sound, and the price was right so no regrets. Also idk how much the cam made a difference from oem but it for sure didn't hurt.

Used on older Jacobsen snowblower. had to get an adapter for the shaft to one inch, but no big deal there. replaced the Techumsa engine with no problems bolted right up no drilling. worked well and started right up with a couple pulls and some choke. Ran perfectly, after sitting for a couple months. Would buy again and recommend this small engine for like projects.

Purchased Sept 4,2025 ran 4hrs perfect. Had issues starting, worked with helpline they resolved the issue. Customer support is very good. Build quality is very good.

The engine mounting holes are very poorly located and getting bolts through is difficult. The spark plug location is also very hard to reach. I could not got the engine started after its initial 10 min idle running the night before. Still trying to troubleshoot the problem.

Purchased to replace an engine on a rear tine tiller. All as described. Cad drawings helpful fabricating new drive brackets. Starts first pull. Runs good. attachment bolt holes on output casting well laid out. No regrets so far.
