Fantastic
This tablet holder is fantastic. I bought it to connect to my exercise bike which has an awkward handlebar. The holder is excellent and is simple to put together and connected at the back of speedometer with the fairly narrow bracket. It is tall enough that I can see my digital display and read my kindle whilst exercising. The whole thing is so sturdy and doesn’t move, I have no worries of my tablet falling out as the holder is really strong and it never moves. Excellent bit of kit.

Wide jaws shapped for gripping tubing
Well built and ideal for gripping onto a pole. Likely to be less effective on a flat surfacePositives: * Wide jaws, will grip standard 1.5inch drum rack tubing. * Gooseneck very rigid, my phone doesnt flop about. * Spung arm grip the phone well, quite a strong spring * Slot on the arms is wide enough for a standard 3.5mm audio cable so connectors on the ends on the phone can be accessed. * Jaws rubber lined, dont slip or mark.Negatives * Unable to tighten the gooseneck to the clamp so its liable to turn loose if the weight is on the wrong side. Needs a grub screw or some flats to get a spanner on. * A version with a longer gooseneck would be useful.

Unfortunetly the flexible arm is not up to the task of holding a kindle fire hd
As the title of the review says... its simply not strong enough to hold an Amazon Kindle Fire HD whilst it's on a static turbo trainer. Now I could understand this issue if the bike was wobbling all over the place in the throws of having some serious effort laid down to smash a speed/time, but no. It was affixed to the handle bar, kindle placed in the clamp with excited anticipation of being able to watch some Prime whilst working out.... my heart sank, and the excitement of the impending entertainment slowly ebbed away as i watch the limp goose neck wilt in slow motion under the huge weight (sarcasm) of a small Kindle Fire HD like spaghetti being cooked. Hmm i would have to Mcgyver this one... I grabbed an alternate goose neck that was much much stronger (from a floor mounted stand also bought from amazon many moons ago) that the clamp had given up the ghost on, so i swapped the clamp of this new limp stand and affixed it to the old stand and hey presto all is good again, working out, striving for speedy speed whilst watching some movies was back on.... as for the now sorry looking new limp clamp and goose neck, no fear it has been placed on its holidays until a use can be found, perhaps holding up a phone?? It has to be said though, the actual mounting clamp and tablet holder clamp are excellent, its just the noodle / gooseneck section that's weaker then a wet paper bag.

Great for use on exercise bike and vertical climber.
This is great for being able to watch a film or see the data from my Garmin Tacx training app. The iPad or phone seems safe and the stability is good when in use, even when being connected to my vertical trainer. It is very easy to install and remove, seems good quality for the price. It’s only got 4 stars as it could do with being a bit longer.

Not strong enough
Bought this for my tentbox to watch Netflix but the arm isn't strong enough to stay upright so it just sags and the tablet is constantly facing downwards. Would not recommend.
