I purchased the 1 lb weights. I’m a plus size and the weights fit just fine. I’m also a Boomer and the added weight helps with all the water exercises. I can see that my lower body is benefiting from the added weight. I was afraid to use weights thinking they would cause pain in my hips and knees. Just the opposite. I walk faster, step up higher and am just stronger.

I read the reviews and although a lot of people were complaining about it taking forever to dry, I decided to go ahead and try them out. I'm glad I did. I bought the one pound weights. For the first 2 days I wore them around the house. They are very comfortable and they have a great grip with the velcro. (both dry and wet) They are very well designed and constructed. I also love the way the weighed gel pad comes out. I'm wondering if those who were complaining about the long dry times, know that if you remove them from the outer shell, they dry so much more quickly. Example of this, I used them for lap swimming in the morning and they were almost dry by that evenings aqua bike class. They are also very comfortable in the water and I definitely got a lot of resistance even though they are 1 pound weights. I really like these & plan to purchase the heavier weights. Overall, they were definitely worth the price.

These are actual metal weights, not the styrofoam kind. Can use in water or out of water. I use these as ankle weights when doing water aerobics. They add resistance to work out. They do have to be adjusted at times as they can loosen in water if they have not been secured tightly when first put on. Also it does take a while for them to dry out. I lay them flat in bathtub to dry otherwise they drip on the floor if you hang them to dry. They are streamlined and more comfortable than the styrofoam type of water weights as they aren't as bulky.

Very comfortable weights used for water aerobics. Helps create a better workout. Fit is good and dries hanging up in my locker.

When I took the weights out of their packaging I noticed right away that they were very stiff - stiff enough that I was a bit worried about being able to get them around an ankle. However, I bent them into shape and fastened them about an hour before I used them and getting them on was not a problem. But, the weights inside are stiff and have square edges. The result of this is that the movement of the weights on an ankle causes the weight inside to press it's sharpish angles into your skin and bone. I think I'm going to be able to use them, but I'm going to look around to see if I can find away to cushion them - possibly with neoprene. I've used water ankle/wrist weights before which were filled with small shot and those were not uncomfortable at all but they were also not very heavy. I bought these because I wanted something a little bit heavier.

I have had there ankle weight for about two weeks or so, I workout in the therapy pool five days a week I were them everyday that I go. I love them and they dry quickly.

I had ordered previous weights that were very similar to these and lasted one session of aqua fit these have been going for 4 sessions and so far so good so I hope they last, comfortable and quick to dry

Having had many different types of neoprene weights in the pool over the past 10 years, these ones have superior seams on their sides, the interior weighting is really well distributed inside the covering and these are the first pair I’ve had with plastic “D” rings (that secure the velcro straps) SO THEY WONT RUST IN THE POOL! A really great design overall!
