Be very careful updating the firmware, you've been warned...
Quick and dirty:Pro's:Great feedback from the keys/ switchesLots of functionsThe software has lots of features, however...(see con's below)RGB!!!(see con's below, cuts both ways due to the software)Con's:Software is, bloated. 200mb+ process when running. Dude, seriously? Can't take full advantage of the RGB functionality because you have to run the software to see the color scheme you createdThe firmware updater crashes. This is the dangerous because that can or will brick the keyboard in which you'll have to submit an RMA or just ask for a refund! One of the keys(the + key on the numpad) was detached when I received the package, and for some reason doesn't sit entirely flush on the switchI didn't get a wrist rest in my package...while I don't use them all the same I did pay for a complete packageTakeaway:It's a good keyboard but Thermaltake needs to get their QA game straight RE packaging, also, FIX THE FIRMWARE UPDATER, and, GREATLY minimize the resource usage for the software...The phone app while good in theory seriously lacks in practice

10/10 for gaming
The keys are very light and respond very quickly, it feels like your hands are hovering over the keybooard and the keyboard is typing for you, the design is overall great as well, don't download the software, i heard it might mess up the keyboard, but overall, the keyboard is already worth the $$$, if you want a keyboard thats more on the software stuff, i recommend razar, but overall, 10/10 keyboard

Edit - Complete Junk
Edit 6/1/18New software version is incompatible with old profiles, meaning you must recreate each profile you previously made. New firmware makes the keyboard become unresponsive after exactly 2.8 days of power on time. If you never turn off or hibernate your system, it will simply stop responding requiring a system reboot. If you simply unplug and reconnect the USB connections every key works but for the Windows key, the control, alt, F1-F12 keys and the escape key. I am past the return window and do not expect anything from Thermaltake.Pros: Keyboard design is excellent, with a conventional layout and working media keys and surprisingly good mechanical feedback.Cons: The documentation barely qualifies as printed material, and the software is even worse. The software cannot be done any worse than it is right now. Profiles can be created, then they must be exported, then re-imported into the software. In my experience, this limits you to 4 as the pulldown where you can select a profile seemingly doesn't allow for more. This does not replace the profiles on the keyboard though, so to keep your key assignments, macros and lighting profiles as created the X1 software must be running at ALL TIMES. Which is kind of big deal when it crashes after 2 hours or so.Also, good luck navigating the cluster of Thermaltake's websites to get any documentation or software.

CherryMX Speed is easy to use ♪
In Japan, only Japanese sequences are sold, and US sequences are desired and purchased at amazon.com.It is the first Cherry MX Speed, but it is light and easy to hit.Well, it's too light and there is a mistake, but it's not good.It is good that volume control can also be done with a roll key!RGB also has various modes, and linkage with Thermaltake products is great if you use software.

One of the best keyboard for this price
One of the best keyboard for this price, You Can choose corsair or Razer and ignore this Little diamond but if You like the plastic frame (like all the Razer keyboard) You would love It. Not useble the app because Only for iOS for now and the software sometimes crash randomly, i Hope the future update could fix this.

does NOT work properly with win 10
does not work properly with windows 10. lighting works fine. volume, mute buttons and macro/mapping does not work at all. windows 10 does not allow you to update the drivers from the standard HID keyboard drivers. you can download the thermaltake software all you want. but the thermaltake software doesn't recognize the keyboard. after installing their software you are met with a message prompting you to plug in a thermaltake device to get started. which as you might imagine is someone unhelpful seeing as it is already plugged in...

Great keyboard, but... (TT X1 RGB Cherry Silver)
Update November 23 2019:New software update addresses the issue with X1 syncing with the TT RGB Plus software. The software recognizes the keyboard without opening the X1 RGB software and can now be controlled all in one app again. Also the PARTY/MOVIE/GAME modes (RGB reacts to sound) settings are working again with the keyboard.Update March 15 2019:The keyboard now fails to synchronize with the TT RGB+ software. Both TT RGB+ and TT X1 RGB keyboard software were up to date (see picture). RMA set up with TT was a great experience (fast response and turnaround time), but the replacement keyboard did not fix the issue of it not syncing up with the keyboard. Now I have a Mouse, AiO cooler, fans out of sync with the keyboard. No problem for single colour LED style, but forget about using the RGB settings. I dunno why the software is not recognizing the keyboard anymore, and I hope they push an update, otherwise avoid this keyboard if RGB sync is important to you. The keyboard is still functional, but it sucks paying so much and having some of the features not working as intended. (Previous rating 4 stars, now down to 3 stars)The software program continuously crashed for me when I was typing a document, while playing music and using TT RGB PLUS software to sync it to the music. Usually happens in 12 mins in itunes, but an hour in youtube for some reason. Doesn't crash in gaming sessions, or if I use any other lighting selection.1st time using silver keys (upgrading from membrane) and it surprised me how easy it is to press a key. It also very nice and clicky compared to the membrane keyboard I was using. I drag my fingers after every press, so it is very easy for me to hit another key while typing. The built in media keys are nice, especially the dedicated mute button. (My old keyboard had me hold the dedicated volume down button to mute)This keyboard doesn't come with a wrist rest. The reviews I saw on YouTube keep mentioning one, but that could be the blue switches? Not too sure. Otherwise , the board is nice semi-gloss black look to it. Has a nice weight to it and the RGB colours are bright (which can be adjusted with keyboard button or software)The software was easy enough to program keys, macros and lighting. But, the box says they had presets for FPS and MOBA (so the keyboard would highlight key buttons) but I can't find it anywhere in the software. The software updated the firmware pretty easy, compared to the ThermalTake Iris mouse. The Iris can't update the driver on the mouse for some reason, but at least the keyboard program is working. Also, this keyboard should be able to sync with Razer Chroma, but so far it doesn't work either and you'll have to continue using TT RGB Plus or TT X1 RGB software to control lighting.Overall, hardware is great, but the software from ThermalTake is passable at best, but a buggy mess if you get a ThermalTake product that doesn't wanna update properly.
