Corolle "Lila Cherie Doll

December 2015: I bought this well before Christmas to give to our 3yr 8mth old granddaughter. She LOVES her new baby SO much that she takes her everywhere (including to the loo). The Lila Cherie baby doll comes in the outfit as shown in the advertisement. The gurgling, giggling, sucking and cooing are as described and are quiet and absolutely not annoying, anyway the crying stops when you give Lila Cherie her dummy or bottle, or after about 30 seconds if you don't give her the pacifier/bottle. The glowing cheeks are a bit bright but our granddaughter was not concerned and loved her even more for the glow; and anyway I understand the brightness tones down after a few days. The smell and look of this lovely baby doll was delightful and our granddaughter literally jumped and jumped for joy on Christmas day when she received this scrummy present. Even I feel the need to give Lila C a hug and pat. The only criticism is that the little outfit the baby doll comes dressed in, is poor quality and feels cheapy cheap ..... however the 'early baby' size of baby clothes readily available at Tesco, Mothercare etc fit this 42inch Lila Cherie perfectly. I had previously read that that was the case so I had bought Lila Cherie several outfits in the premmie size for Christmas ready for our granddaughter to use in play. The Tesco pink flowery - early baby - babygrow I'd bought looks particularly pretty.Sadly within a few days Lila Cherie's dummy has gone missing. And as it's an interactive dummy I'm having difficulty locating the correct replacement dummy.To explain .... Interactive ie the doll automatically sucks when the dummy or the milk bottle is introduced into the baby doll's mouth, as these two items appear to have a tiny contact strip within the teats which interacts with the suck feature of the doll.If any one can help me in buying a couple of replacement interactive dummies I would be very grateful for advice. My granddaughter can't be the only little girl whose lost her Lila Cherie's interactive dummy. Getting a bit desperate now as even the French Corolle site is unhelpful.I did buy our granddaughter a smaller size interactive Corolle baby doll, when she was two and a half years old (this was sadly lost) and would absolutely recommend this make as well worth the extra money as the doll itself is a quality product.

With Corolle you really really do get what you pay for. These dolls are so all beautiful and well made. The faces are just so much prettier and softer skinned than any others. If you put a Corolle doll next to anoter brand you see the difference instantly. And the vanilla scent is lovely. Waaay better than the baby annabelle who interacts. The interactions on this doll are lovely. When you press her hand or place her on her tummy, she cries. It's not too loud which is great and you can quickly get her to stop by putting in the dummy or giving the bottle - then she makes little sucking noises. The 'tickle' function is more push on her tummy than tickle her, but hey.. she gives a lovely gurgle and laugh. The only thing I don't like is the red cheeks. It's SO bright!!! it really looks like a red bulb is lit in her head! odd! however, after a few days it dimmed considerably so it's fine :) My daughter got it for her 2nd birthday along with a pram and she absolutely loves it. She spends all day making it cry then cuddling it and giving it a bottle/dummy. A total hit! my 5 year old son seems to love it too! much to my daughter's annoyance!

A lovely made doll. Having spent ages looking at all the similar dolls I'm so glad we spent the extra on this. The extra quality really shows through, she smells lovely and actually looks lovely too. Noises not too loud, quite realistic and functions great without constant help from mummy and daddy. Good size for my 2 yeat old and not heavy at all. Would highly recommend and would buy again.

Nice doll but rather overpriced. Nicely packed and looked lovely in her pretty box,mShe wasn't loved as much as I thought she would be as she doesn't have hair and she's wearing trousers which was a bit of a disappointment to a three year old very girly girl.

This is a lovely really cute doll. She's light and easy to handle and dress. Little ones will have hours of fun with her.

I bought this for a very good price. The doll is adorable and she smells delicious.The features are great and very life like. My daughter enjoys this.I've bought her heaps of newborn clothes from Next which are much cheaper than specific doll clothes.

The doll with all the features my little granddaughter hoped for on her 3rd birthday- her own 'baby'! A good quality doll with good accessories and even more available which were given to her by her other Grandma!

Very popular with my 4-year old granddaughter. The crying is very realistic and I'm glad I don't have to listen to it much.
