These carbs are definitely better than the factory carbs on a taotao 125g. I bought 2 of them for my kids quads, one of the carbs has a large crack where the air filter mounts. If left un noticed it would cause you to dust your engine. If your unfamiliar with the term it means fine dust particles enter your engine and score the cylinders which makes you lose compression.I used some jb weld to fix the crack so my kids ride and not have to wait another few days.I wish this seller would send a new one.

Swapped it out with OEM on my sons coolster 110cc atv and it fired right up. Had to use the old air filter because the included filter did not have a vacuum line connection. Time will tell how it holds up. Seems to be quality carb for the price.

I had bought a Tao Tao 125 quad for my 8 year old son a year ago,the factory fitted carb was a problem because i had left the quad sitting with gas in for over a year, when i started it i had fuel starvation,i put it down to gunk in the bowl, i wanted to clean out the bowl and could not as the original fitted to the quad had the bowl rivited to the carb.I bought this one and it fitted perfectly, fired up 1st time and has been running fine, the nice thing is with this is i can open the bowl in future as this one comes with the standard screws on the bowl as you would expect.

Works good, had to cut half of the top brass part off that holds the throttle cable, wouldn't let my needle go down all the way in the carb. Maybe I got the wrong cable, but it works just fine now.

Carburetor works great. It was an easy repair, only took about 30 minutes.
