I can't use fragranced products so this is an excellent alternative. It is quite pricey but then so are most non-fragranced products and it feels like good quality. And what's here should go a long way. The instructions are clear and I quite enjoyed mixing the flakes into the bottle. I need to remember next time to let it cool a bit first as I melted my bottle!

The first thing I noticed was the smell. It really is an acquired taste and if you might find that you need to disguise it somehow. It is difficult to describe but reminds me of a garage or workshop that has been cleaned with disinfectant. It is very strong.The soap is very oily which has been a bonus for me. I used it to make homemade laundry powder, mixing it up in the blender with borax substitute and soda crystals. The result was amazing, my clothes are super clean and so soft that I don’t need softener even though I am in a hard water area . Also the smell disappears once they are out of the washer.I have used the soap to make a washing up liquid with less success because of the high oil content. It left an oily film on the dishes but my hands felt really nice afterwards. You can really see the oil floating from this soap.As a vegan, I liked this brand because it isn’t tested on animals and uses plant oils. The paper bag has a plastic liner but it looks like it will be easy to pull out when I come to sort it for recycling.The soap is clumpy and if you want a powder you will have to put it in the food processor. However, if you are looking to melt it, it dissolves very quickly in hot water without the need to break it down further.I am really looking forward to experimenting further with this soap but will continue to look at ways of masking the smell with essential oils.

May be in the future they could replace the paper and plastic bag by an only paper bag, which is easier to recycle.

This is a good quality soap but has no scent - i thought it would have that French soap fragrance but am using a scented conditioner with it.

It's ok, I am using it to make my own laundry soap and it does the job.

Wonderful for babies

I al use to do my homemade Lou dry. This one isn’t thick. Too liquid. The color is yellow instead of white. The smell isn't nice. I have to send it back. I have doubt it’s genuine.
