Works great
We bought a greenhouse and used these to hold the greenhouse down.

Easy to install
These are much better than the type with a little flat auger on bottom. Most of them I tried just spin in place. These screw down easily and hold my trees in place.

Customer service is great
I bought these in April and finally had the opportunity to use them in July. The first one I tried broke immediately in sandy gravel. I didn't bother with the rest. Even though they were out of warranty, the company stood behind their product and made it right.

Lowest quality possible, I really don't think the other reviewers invested much in their "tests"
I'm honestly not too sure how the other reviewers could be so enamored with these things, as they're honestly just lowest rung of quality all the way around. Terribly quality steel, the welds are all as cold as can be, zero penetration, and they absolutely WILL fail in even a moderate load setting. Never would these be able to live up to even a single digit fraction of their "rated capacity", of which I promise you came out of someone's fantasy land, not real world tests. Furthermore, they shipped with what looked like a nice additional item, a 14mm impact socket for a smaller / typical impact gun. Granted, a smaller (3/8s or keyed) impact is going to be inch pounds, and not enough to drive one of these into the earth... so if one wants to use an impact, they'd likely require a 1/2" impact, as I used... The first thing I found out was that the nifty / included 14mm socket, was too large... the head on each of these units is 13mm.... so the very first thing I got to do, was strip the head straight off of the first unit I was installing. At which point I grabbed another, tested the included 14mm socket on its head, and yeah... all the play a 14mm would have on a 13mm bolt head. Hence it stripping the absurdly soft, cheap, terrible quality "steel" without a hint of effort. In an instant, it was round... What's worse is that when installing the second unit, the moment it began spinning, the "weld" broke, and the D-ring / clevis all flew off. Pictures clearly showing the coldest of cold "welds", with zero penetration, of course with the worst quality "steel" imaginable. These are literally horrible, and the amount of 5 star reviews is simply depressing... how a product can appear to legit, simply due to the few buyers that have purchased it being unable to actually discern a proper evaluation of an item, is just a shame... Not everyone is an expert, but everyone can sure leave a review... and that can and does muddy the water on what is worth buying, and what absolutely IS NOT. And despite the majority of buyers thinking that these items are somehow good in any way at all, I assure you all that they are not. These are the cheapest, lowest quality, most lowest tier items imaginable. And they will fail you. . . If I'd managed to install them without them self destructing in the process, then I'd surely have ended up losing my carport in some time due to winds, and these all snapping apart like the toys that they are. Negative a million... Do Not Buy.
