The remote is well made and has a very similar colour and style to the original Sony product. The keys are rubberised and offer decent feedback when pressed. The layout differs slightly, but all of the main functions are present. The only niggle is that the manufacturer sticker that they applied was uneven and spoilt the overall look, but this was easily removed leaving no residue.In use, I found that it works on my Sony TV and Blu-Ray player with no issues however I do miss the shortcut buttons for Netflix and Prime, but this is a minor niggle.This is a fairly inexpensive replacement remote for Sony products and a lot cheaper than what you would have to pay for a genuine one. An easy recommendation.

I don't have the actual Blu-ray system that this remote is designed for, but I do have a Sony TV and Blu-ray player. I therefore thought it would be ideal as a spare, as occasionally I cannot find the original remote. Having inserted two batteries (AA and not supplied) it worked immediately. This is a slightly smaller version of my main remote and has various functions. The manufacturer says the case is ABS, which is reassuring as it's very tough and can handle falls and serious knocks. The buttons work satisfactorily and the remote appears to be quite well made. However the name, Gouyesho, on the remote is stuck on suggesting it may be a rebranded item. I am happy to recommend it providing it offers a significant cost saving over the genuine remote. I will revise my review, if necessary, after I have used it more.
