What a trooper. Bought for my son in law and worked great. Maiden smoking went great. A big brisket and no issues. Temp controlled nice. Temp gauge was accurate and the smoker fit perfect together. Plus it is sturdy too.

So far, so good. It was easy to assemble. It is thoughtfully designed and feels balanced/sturdy. I will cook on it this weekend, hope that goes well.

I thought it would be stronger than tin. Yes tin. Every time I move it to start it one of the legs seem to bend inward. I don’t think it was meant to be that way. The bowl that the charcoal fits in is stronger than the grill it fell. So I recommend that nobody buys it. Because if you have kids and you’re using it, it’s very easy for them to tip it over and get injured. Look out for your kids before you buy this charcoal grill.

Made the best ribs brats and porkchops of my life all at the same time the day we unboxed it. Paint on the outside definitrly bubbles even on first use, but outside of that cosmetic issue its great. Put together in 20 minutes easy, just big enough to cook a lot at once without taking up much space. Amazing value for money. Typically ill put something on the bottom rack i want to eat soon - like half the rack of ribs - and half up top to slowly smoke over hours. Middle piece is extremely soft, if you bend it at all it stays bent so you may have to reshape it to out it back on.

There are NO clips to hold the sections together, to move, the base (section with charcoal and lower grate) must be moved separately from the upper section. I did not notice that when ordering. Just makes moving slightly more difficult than necessary. Otherwise works as expected. Produces much better smoke flavor than my pellet smoker when used with appropriate wood cups or chunks. As others have noted temperature gauge is worthless, never went above 120 degrees, though a temperature probe showed 220. Assembly: Tedious but easy, the “acorn” covering on the nuts might be glued on rather than cast, snapped off when I tightened them. Meat hooks, flimsy wire, I threw them away. If I purchase another one, will look for one with clips for sections.

Exactly as expected, definitely recommend this grill, for the price it is amazing. Smokes everything perfectly, my wife has wanted every meal cooked on this thing since we've gotten it.
