this is a real metal license plate not some plastic garbage . very bright colors and seems like it will last a while!

Although not as thick as a state issued LP, it is indeed plenty sturdy :) Colors are very vibrant (I would know, I used to operate printing presses), so they do meet my "professional" eye...lol Very nice product and I will be getting two more for my other vehicles.....because ARIZONA!!!!! Well made and durable, I had one of these for several years. The colors still looked great but "dings" from rocks eventually took their toll. The paint did not chip off but the pounding of little rocks, kicked up by freeway traffic, made it a little "bumpy." So I just bought three more. Now I'm set for life!

The picture is misleading. It looks much brighter in person. I was hoping for a darker colored, but you can't beat the price.
