Great stroller, poor service.
Let me start by saying that THIS IS THE BEST JOGGING STROLLER!!!And not just that, it is the best bicycle trailer. It really is well developed. The one star, is because it arrived with one disc of the disc brakes bent - resulting in it to make a sound and slowly pull the stroller to the left - and now I have to either send the whole thing back for a new one, in hopes that one is fine. Or I have to jump through a multitude of hoops to get it repaired. The reply from Thule, who immediately marked the issue as "solved".We apologies for any issues you are having and more than happy to solve your issue. Please contact your local dealer to see if repairs can be done locally. If not, you will still need to work with a local dealer as the product may need to be sent to our Calgary facility. A dealer will contact us first to determine if the parts for your model are available. If so, then we will provide the dealer with a quote for refurbishing and shipping. At that point you can choose whether you wish to have the repairs done. The dealer will take care of shipping the unit to Calgary and receiving it when it comes back.Your local dealer can also advise if these repairs are covered under your Warranty. You can find out who your local dealer is by clicking on the link below: < link >Thank you for the inquiry and have a great day!My simple request was to send me a disc, so I could put a new disc on there.TIP IF YOU BUY THIS STROLLER: Do not throw away the box in the first weeks! You might find an issue after using it a few days, and the only workable solution is to get the entire thing replaced. Thule Support just deflects all the work to a local dealer, who will be overly joyed (not!) to help someone who bought through Amazon.Bottom line, if there is the smallest thing wrong with it; send the whole thing back! And keep on doing that until you get a good one.

Beware the changes in 2014, otherwise a fantastic TWO child carrier for ACTIVE parents!!!
- I purchased a CX 2 (in burnt orange) at REI last fall, after calling Chariot to confirm that it was the newest CX 2 edition (the rep said that it was, but unfortunately, this was not the case, the new 2014 Thule model was soon to be released). The item came with drum brakes, which were difficult to adjust and caused me to return to REI to replace with the new CX 2- which has significant upgrades. The new 2014 CX 2 (in blue/turquoise) has disc brakes, new tires, a new handlebar system, new accessory bar and a new harness system. I received the new CX 2 last week, and after having my LBS examine the disc brakes, they were unable to true them or adjust them without significant rubbing/drag (these bike mechanics supported me and my teammates at pro bike races, so i felt they know their mechanics). I returned the CX 2 to REI and asked the warehouse to actually demo the replacement CX 2 at the warehouse before sending it out- they did, i received it, and i’m happy with the disc brakes- I’m sure they’ll be great after the pads wear in (there was some rubbing on one disc brake, but it was not significant).- Secondly, I purchased the CX 2 jogging kit from REI. The new CX 2 comes with the strolling kit, v. the jogging kit on the previous model. The box i received had significant damage, and i assumed the quick release was missing from the kit due to the damaged box that was taped up. REI expedited a new CX 2 jogging kit to me, which upon examination also had missing the quick release skewer. It also only contained the two arms and the wheel. I called REI locally as well as the 1-800 number, and we all concluded that the kit should come with the quick release. I confirmed this also with Barbara Lacombe. She is sending a replacement skewer to me. Perhaps are all the REI boxes missing the quick release skewer, or is there a bizarre coincidence that i received two boxes with the quick release part missing?- Thirdly, my old CX 2 (which was only 6 months ‘old’) had a different harness system- there was an option to ride a single child in the middle and then two children side by side. The new CX 2 Thule model only allows placement of a child on the left and right; due to the new harness system, a single child cannot occupy the middle. The new harness system also makes use of the accessories i purchased (baby sling and baby supporter) now obsolete- i had to purchase a ‘new’ infant sling. The new harness system has a different center (combined lap and shoulder) red buckle. The old system uses a buckle system for the lap and the shoulder separately. The new infant sling has a buckle extender that clips into the new buckle system, as well as two clips that utilize “O” rings sewn into the seat, v. the buckles on the old CX 2. As well, i have a baby supporter that is now also obsolete with the new harness system, and will need to replace it, as well, even though it is only a few months. old.The instructional videos online have changed from the chariot ones (2009) to the new thule chariot ones (2013), reflecting the new harness system (shown with a single carrier how to use the baby sling). In summation my three issues again are:1. Disc brakes not being universally true/high quality2. The missing quick release from the jogging kit and3. The new harness system making items purchased just a few months ago obsolete. Now that i have my "ISSUES" out of the way, this carrier is awesome. The new components are fantastic, the handling superior, the brake system great, the ease of swapping out strolling, bike and jogging (i don't hike or ski with mine). I've owned the single Cougar Chariot (2011), the double CX 2 (2013) and now the new CX 2 (2014) and have to say that its my favorite so far. Be wary of the components you purchase for it, however, as the new harness system with the Thule acquired models are indeed different!!!

Love the All-Weather Features
I have 2 toddler age nephews, and we love this stroller. The owner's manual led me on a wild goose chase, but once I finally found and retrieved it, putting the stroller together wasn't too hard. It took less than an hour altogether until it was completed. And then the boys had to be coaxed into it. We tried it out in the living room for a few minutes (hard wood floor), 'popping a wheelie' (or two) as the oldest would say. They loved it.We use the stroller more for fun than as an accouterment to my exercise routine. Although jogging seems more appealing with the monkeys in tow, so I haven't ruled it out. What has really come in handy is the full array of weather proofing options. My first winter in Arkansas is not as warm as everyone has insisted it might be. The boys are snug and safe even on the yucky days, and delighted that they still get to go outside. I'm looking forward to using it more when the weather clears up and I'm more willing to go outside.

Family Running
The 2 boys (3 months, 2yrs 3 months) love the ride - very smooth and comfortable for sleeping. Mum and Dad like the run, easy to steer and lots of pockets. The unit folds down enough that we can get it in and out through the door of our flat but you wouldn't want to do many stairs. Good product.
