Reliable RO Unit for clean, pure water! Highly recommended!!
June, 14 2026 Update: I've been through 2 sets of filters and 2 ro membranes so far, and this filter is still running strong with zero issues! I've moved to am area with even worse water than my last reviews (the ppm shows as 999!) This filter makes all of the nasty tap water drinkable and safe for myself and my family. This is truly worth the price and provides the convenience of making clean water at home! Zero issues, no signs of wear, still works as if it's brand new! I've been using this reverse osmosis water filter with UV sterilization over the last year, and it has been nothing short of AMAZING!! This is one of my greatest Amazon purchases, as I can now make hundreds of gallons of fresh, clean, safe water and ice cubes for myself and my pets from the convenience of home! No more lugging heavy 5 gallon jugs to the water machine at the grocery store, no more paying for water delivery in plastic jugs, no more potential exposure to chemicals from the plastic jugs that are driven around on a hot Arrowhead truck in the summer, no more lifting heavy jugs onto a water dispenser, or dealing with leaks or spills! This water filter is quiet, super simple to use, the 3 filters lasted me approximately a year (our tap water quality is horrible where I live) and are very easy to repurchase through Amazon, the added UV sterilization was also an added bonus that many other filters did not have! The actual reverse osmosis membrane is still like new and has the full 4 bars of life remaining. I love that I can store the water in the glass carafe, and cool it down in my fridge without the use of any plastic. The benefits of this filter far outweigh the price I paid for it, as my skin cleared up, I drink way more water now due to the improved flavor and texture of the reverse osmosis water and knowing my ice cubes aren't loaded with contaminants! I highly recommend this filter, as it's proven to be durable and has consistently performed like brand new since day 1.. the waste water collected in the water reservoir is reused to water plants in my garden, which seem to love the increased minerals and have been flourishing. Just buy it, you will not regret this purchase!!

Awesome tasting water!
Like most people, I buy way too much of the bottled water at the market. The tap water in LA is horrible tasting, so you really have no choice. So I decided to splurge on this machine. Was it worth it? ABSOLUTELY. Yes, it's expensive, but your water will be cleaner and will taste TERRIFIC. It'll taste way better than the bottled stuff. Right out of the box, you can tell this was a sturdily-built machine. It is sort of big, but not much larger than an expensive espresso machine. Set-up is pretty easy, although you do have to go through a rinse cycle a few times to clear out the charcoal from the filters. I think it took about five cycles or so to clear it up. My tap water was reading at 500-plus in each fill, according to the digital TDS meter. That's not good to drink at all! After going through the cycle, it read around 25 or so. To fill up the entire carafe, it takes less than 10 minutes I believe. Speaking of the carafe, there's a "remineralization" filter at the very top of the carafe, so you get some of the minerals that were taken out from the other filters. Taste-wise, like I said, it's crisp and refreshing! I bought myself a six-pack of BPS free plastic bottles and now I've got my own sustainable bottled water system. Cons: Well, a couple of them. When it goes through the filtering process, it'll output the "good" water. It also filters out the "bad" water. That bad water stays behind in the water container and you pour out it each time you go through a cycle. So, you're losing maybe a 1/5 of the water that you cycled. You can use that to water your plants, etc., but it's a lot of water. There's no overflow meter that shuts off the system. I had the carafe 1/4 full and I hit the cycle at full. Well, it went past the limit line and started pouring out. So, if you're going to filter out water, make sure the carafe is empty each time. Anyway, this still is a terrific buy for some terrific tasting water!

Tasty clean water
I have been using this for six months now and wish I got it sooner! This machine makes the absolute best tasting water. The tap water in my home is hard, musty, and not something I would ever drink before this. But now, I am saving an enormous amount of money instead of buying bottled water. It has already paid for itself! The machine is very easy to use. All you have to do is remove the tank, dump and refill to the line, and run the cycle and you end up with pure clean water that tastes great due to the remineralization filter. Do be sure to refill the tank between each cycle, even with water remaining. You need to get rid of the reject water in order to maintain the system. I use this several times a day and by entirely changing the water each cycle have ensured very minimal wear and tear on the filters. The only one I have replaced is the remineralization filter on the carafe at around the 6 month mark. You will need to replace this more often than the others but it is also the cheapest piece to replace at about $15 when you buy them in a 2-pack. I have had to descale the carafe a couple of times as mineral build up can occur, but simply mix warm water with vinegar and let it sit for 20 minutes, then rinse it out. The unit is bigger than most coffee makers but still small enough to fit under most kitchen cabinets and comfortably on the counter. It needs only a simple plug so can also be used elsewhere like a table in an office. You just have to tote the water tank to a kitchen/bathroom faucet nearby. If you are on the fence I would highly encourage you to buy this!

Best water filtration system I’ve ever use.
I’ve been using this water purifier for a little over a year, and I think it produces better-tasting water and filters more effectively than any other water purifier I’ve used. Today I replaced filters #1, #2, and #4, and the process was incredibly easy—simple enough that even an elementary school student could do it.

Excellent water quality and taste after 3 months of use
I've been using this system for about three months with faucet water, and I'm extremely impressed with the water quality and taste. The combination of reverse-osmosis filtration and UV treatment produces what I consider the best-tasting drinking water I've had from a home filtration system. The taste and output have remained consistently excellent. The system is very easy to operate, with self-explanatory display icons. With my normal use, it produces a full container in about five minutes. It's also an attractive countertop unit and has been very clean and consistent in daily use. The main issue I've encountered is mineral/limescale buildup from minerals such as calcium in my incoming water. The symptom for me was noticeably slower filling, with the system no longer filling the container to the amount indicated on the display. I was able to resolve this by following the manufacturer's vinegar-and-water descaling procedure and thoroughly rinsing the system. Normal flow returned afterward. After three months, I haven't needed to replace any filters. The system displays the remaining life of the individual filters, making it easy to monitor their status rather than replacing them simply based on elapsed time. Other than addressing the mineral buildup, I've found that the system requires very little routine maintenance. I also think this system offers very good value considering the quality of the water it produces, particularly compared with much more expensive ionizer systems. Overall, I'm very happy with the system. The excellent taste and water quality, fast filtration, attractive design, simple controls, and low routine maintenance make it an excellent choice for someone who is particularly particular about the quality and taste of their drinking water.

Real TDS Drop + Great Taste, No Installation Needed
I’ve been using this Bluevua countertop RO system for a few days, and the results are easy to verify. My tap water reads around 300+ ppm, and after filtration it drops to about 20–30 ppm. You can see it directly on the screen, which makes a big difference compared to filters where you just have to trust the claims. Setup is incredibly simple. Fill the tank, plug it in, press a button. No installation, no plumbing, perfect for apartments. Taste is noticeably better. The remineralization stage keeps the water from tasting flat, so it actually feels clean and smooth. The glass carafe is a nice touch and avoids any plastic taste. It also looks more premium than most countertop systems. Noise is moderate while running, and like any RO system, there is some water waste and you’ll need to refill the tank if you use it a lot. If you’re hesitating between a pitcher filter and a real RO system, this one is better for actual purification and visible results. Overall, a very solid choice if you want clean water without dealing with installation.

One of the best things I’ve purchased for my health
****UPDATED WITH MY EXPERIENCE/COMPLETE INSTRUCTIONS*** Blue VUA Filter Changing Incl: descaling & cleaning: It's a good time to change everything and keep it in a cycle that is efficient and easy to remember. That being said, every 6 months you need to replace the 3 filters outside of the RO reverse osmosis filter which is 1x/year. If you use the mineral beads, they need to be changed every six months like the other 3 filters. Save yourself time and a headache and do them all at once! That being said, this is the process: • Remove ALL the filters including the mineral beads. • DESCALING: In the descaling kit, you will find four plugs that you screw into where you just removed the old filters. Insert ALL 4 of them even if you're not changing out the RO yet because you don't want the descaling and cleansing to go through a still good RO filter! You only need one set of plugs for both and they come with the descaling kit. • Fill the resivoir to the MAX line and empty one packet of descaling powder into a full reservoir of water. Stir it until it dissolves. Run the water for about four minutes and then stop it and let the descaling solution sit for 30 minutes. After that time press the brew button again and finish the water that's still in the tank. • Flush the system 4 times with new tap-water. IMPT!!!*** You should do descaling BEFORE the cleaning /tablet. To save more time and another headache take a glass of tapwater and put in the cleaning tablet. There's a coating on it that makes it take a long time to dissolve. I keep stirring and stab at it a little bit until it dissolves while I am running all of the flushing out cycles. This takes a long time and it would take a lot longer if you then had to wait for the tablet to dissolve! Do it ahead of time! • Pour the glass of water with the dissolved cleaning tablet into the reservoir and fill it to the MAX line. It says to only do one flush after the cleaning tablet which you can "brew" right away, no sitting needed. • Remove cleaning plugs. Water will drip! Replace all of the filters with new ones or new and still good RO depending on what 6 month filter cycle you are on. There's a little lever on the right side of the furthest right filter, underneath a white cover you can feel and push. That should reset the filters one at a time but if they don't, (my last time 2 showed new and 2 showed on the last bar) or you don't want to go through the process of one by one I found out a way that is not in any description. No matter what I did to reset and two did not so I had to call Customer Service. You push up that toggle button inside next to the far right filter and while holding it in, turn it off and on again at the same time. That cleared everything to read as new. • It said to now flush the whole system with the new filters a couple of times because the water will be cloudy during the flush. Do NOT put in the new mineral beads until you are ready to run your first good pitcher. As I know from my first research when purchasing this machine, the output water numbers on the right side of the screen from the tap water should never be more than 30 to be purified enough to drink. When you're running the flush of the new filters those numbers will drop rapidly but I still did three flushes until there was no cloudiness and got to 30. • Lastly I inserted the new mineral beads into the pitcher and ran a good clean cycle that was less than 30 output. Usually it's near 8 and it will go down again. A lot of steps and time but do it!**** I wanted a reverse osmosis system, but I didn’t want the expense and the installation and everything of under the sink and didn’t know if I wanted to take up that much room. Somehow, I saw this and liked what it said and the reviews. I looked at independent studies that also had this as one of the best. I’m very glad I got the UV one because that keeps it “self cleaning” so there isn’t any bacteria buildup in the reservoir which I have read as a negative for the other model that does not have UV, so spend the extra money! It comes with a little mineral add on for the lid of the carafe that screws right into the lid, and ordered extras of those and an extra carafe because I keep one carafe in the refrigerator for cold water at all times. The other pitcher I brew mostly for my cats water and coffee. All the water that’s been filtered out waters the plants outside so it’s a win-win all the way around. I always gave my cats bottled or pitcher filtered water but since the day I started using this, there has not been one upset stomach or vomiting at all. None! I started making my large 2 inch ice cubes and round craft ice with this water and stopped the icemaker that was built into my inside freezer. It’s a very expensive huge fridge that was originally $16,000 (came with the house ) but the ice tasted terrible and it comes in from sink water and there is no filter. I felt gross anytime I added ice to anything and now all I taste is clean clean clean. When I first got it, I did more than the five flushes, about seven or eight to get the filters going and any residue out. I decided for the heck of it to check my Mavea/Britta pitcher filtered water too. The tap water was around 550 so super poor quality and it should be 30 or below. I have a Malvea water pitcher which was Britta‘s premium water pitcher that they no longer make, but you can still buy filters for. I had just changed the filter within two weeks and when I ran that water through the machine, it was approximately 650! Worse than tapwater! Then I started researching more and those filters hold in bacteria. So when I thought I was giving my cats better water, I wasn’t. On another note, some things to know if you have problems with acid like me. The mineralization really helps because it adds more minerals back in plus it makes the water less acidic which RO water tends to be slightly acidic. That will also make the number slightly higher with the minerals added, so don’t let it make you think your water isn’t as low as it should be, but it will still stay low for the output water. It’s very easy to fill and carry. You can use a jug and fill the reservoir easily or carry it by the handle and put it in the sink and fill it to the waterline . And obviously easy to carry the spent water to water your plants. It’s also super quiet. Three of the filters need to be changed about every year and the RO filter approximately every two years. The mineralization every six months. I’m thrilled with the size, appearance, functionality, and the obvious improvement adding to healthy lifestyle. Love it!

Tastes much purer, easy setup, but wastes some water during filtering
I’ve been using this Bluevua RO100ROPOT countertop system for almost a month now. Installation was quick and really easy. The water tastes so much better and you can really tell it filters out the particles well, it definitely tastes purer than before. My only complaint is that the water container could be a bit bigger, and the drain for the water being filtered should be smaller, because there’s a noticeable amount of water wasted every time you filter, around 500 ml each time. Other than that, I’d still recommend it because the difference in water taste and purity is really worth it.
