DEE ZEE DZ11994 Brite-Tread Bed Caps

Dissapointed in the fit. Too wide for bedrails on Silverado. Make sure to mount them with outer edges as flush to your truck as possible and let the overlap hang on the inside to avoid exposing sharp edges on outside. Slightly too short for bed too. Came with lousy instructions. They were very poorly written and vague. They keot saying to use whatever mounting methods needed and whatever fit your vehicle! They came with bolts, tape, and useless spacers! They expect you to figure out what method works. Bolt holes didn't line up at all. The tape isn't glued down in the center. Just shoddy quality and whoever wrote the instructions was laxy! Stake holes don't line up either. But, I kept them since my crossover tool box mounted on top and covered the holes and helped secure them and I got them cheap!

Quality product, fit my 97 chev short box very good. nice finish. unfortunately the caps were loose inside the shipping box and one cap got scratched. The shipping box had no visible damage. Otherwise I would give 5 stars.

Good quality, easy to install. Protects bed top sides as I wanted. Weathers well here in the south.

We had to do quite a bit of "fixing" to get these to fit the truck properly. The pair weren't bent evenly and they were way to wide to fit the bed rails. Wound up having to drill holes in the cap and bed rail on the truck and to it them down because the bend was so inaccurate. DeeZee could do better.
