I purchased this for my mother's trip to Egypt. This bag features multiple anti-theft features like locking compartments, slash-resistant material, and RFID-blocking pockets. UPDATED: My bag arrived used and dirty, which I didn't notice right away. I DID notice that it didn't have any of the tags on it, nor were any of the clasps closed- but I'm OK with returned items as long as they are still brand new. However, after taking a closer look- I can see stains and dirt. Not happy that I paid full price for a USED one.ORIGINAL POST: We have an upcoming trip to Europe and I wanted a bag that could carry my wallet, passport, eyeglass case, sunglass case, small cosmetics bag (hand sanitizer, tissues, nail clippers, hand moisturizer, small nail file, chapstick, ibuprofen), a few granola bars, a note pad, pen, my cell phone (XL) and still have room to cram in a super thin jacket. I also wanted a place to stash receipts, maps, brochures, etc. and also have a spot for a water bottle.I ordered several bags to choose from, and THIS is the one that I kept. It has the perfect amount of pockets and storage. Room for everything- and I can still cram a thin jacket into it if I need to. Or, in cold weather I could probably put my gloves and a knit hat in it, but not much else. I like that the water bottle pocket is on the outside and doesn’t intrude to the inside. This bag is going to be my go-to bag for all my traveling (Europe, Disneyland, Zoo, etc.)** THERE IS A DRAWBACK ** The adjustment for the shoulder strap hits my collarbone. I'm going to have to either wear this backwards, or across my other shoulder, or make some sort of modification to make this bag work. Whether that's deconstructing the strap and re-sewing it, or making a padded sleeve, or..... ?? I like the bag so much, though, that I'm willing to risk it.Here are the other bags that I tried out- in case you are looking for the perfect bag, too:Ranked in order of size…Travelon Quilted North/South Medium- I have to say, this bag is an amazing bag with tons of storage and tons of pockets. If I were carrying things for my kids or husband, this would be the one I’d go with. Or, if I was traveling someplace cold where I wanted room to stash my gloves, hat and scarf when I’m indoors- this would be perfect. It’s so big you could almost carry a spare pair of shoes in it (ie Disneyland walking!) But for just me, in normal weather, it was too much. Too big and too many pockets.Travelon Classic Crossbody Bucket Bag- I really wanted to like this one, but the buckle sat right across my collarbone. The bag was quite large, but set up well with easy to access pockets and storage. The drawback to this bag, for me, was the styling. It was so “blah”. I ordered the gray, and it just felt too industrial and lacked style.Travelon Heritage Hobo- This one was my absolute favorite in appearance. I just LOVED it. But the zippers were so big and scratchy, the pockets were really hard to get things in and out of them because of the zipper style. I was so sad. Storage wise- it was perfect. Utility wise- so hard to use.Travelon Classic North/South Crossbody Bag- this is the one I ultimately kept.Travelon Asymmetric Small East/West Crossbody- I wanted to keep this one, too….. as a smaller bag… it’s more of a purse style. It doesn’t have room to store a thin jacket, nor does it have the water bottle pocket, but it has a good look to it and a nice amount of pockets.Travelon Small East/West Crossbody- this is more like a purse. Even smaller than the Asymmetric one. Way too small for any daytripping so I didn’t even take it out of the packaging to try it.

Great travel purse. Recently took it on an eight day trip. It held everything I needed and then some. I love the locking pockets and that there were so many of them! Really kept me organized! Th expanding water bottle pocket was a plus. The material was durable and performed as stated in other reviews. Light weight but sturdy.

This purse is lightweight, roomy, and has lots of pockets for organizing my valuables. It’s RFID protected, slash resistant, and has locking compartments. My only complaint is the top zipper: it gets stuck every time I try to close it and will likely break early due to stress.

I purchased this crossbody bag for a recent Viking River Cruise trip to Europe. I knew I would be traveling through airports and then taking daily walking tours through towns in Europe. I ordered several bags and compared them all at home before leaving on the trip. This crossbody bag was perfect. The zipper locks and reinforced strap helped me feel less at risk for pickpockets (some Viking tourists did have a pick pocket run in at one location). The multiple pockets let me organize the things I look with me so I didn't have to stand a search through the whole bag to find a cough drop or tissue. The bottle holder on the side is pretty much worthless because it is too narrow. I did not use it at all. However, we were given water bottles (about 16 oz) when we left on a tour and it fit very nicely in the large middle pocket along with others things I had in there. The wide strap was not uncomfortable on my shoulder (I was wearing short/long sleeve shirts and sometimes a jacket -- not a tank top). I'm pretty picky about things rubbing me and it did not. I'm a larger female (thicker in the middle) and the bag laid nicely against my side and didn't bump around. After a 10 day trip, it looks brand new. It is now my go to bag for travels.

I love the size of this. It is perfect for my overseas travel. It has many compartments and zippers that lock. It has a cable in the strap to deter thieves. It has the RFID in the compartment where you would store your credit cards. This was a great value!

Absolutely love this one. Love the style, the length, and even all the compartments and that it works in the rain. Great for traveling when the zippers lock and very easy to unlock the zippers when needed. Definitely a roomy bag to fit your needs and then some when traveling and definitely helps eliminate someone to getting into your purse just lock it all up. Love the black because it goes with everything

This purse has the space, pockets and safety as described, but I’m not a fan of the strap. Because of the material that can’t be cut, the strap doesn’t move or bend well. I found it uncomfortable to wear on my shoulder. When I got the strap to the length I wanted, the metal buckle dug into my back while wearing. I changed back to another purse as soon as I got back from my trip.

Es muy funcional, espacioso. Tiene muchos bolsillos, los cierres gruesos, resistentes y la lona de calidad. El bolsillo exterior no es muy funcional porque mi botella de agua es de litro, pero para una botella pequeña puede funcionar, o para guardar los lentes, o algo pequeño está bien. El color me encantó porque combina muy bien con tonos oscuros y claros.

These purses are perfect for travel. They store your valuables securely and give you peace of mind when you’re in a crowd of people.The organization features are great as well. There are clips for keys, pockets for other items and a storage pocket for easily accessible passports. The zippers lock and the strap cannot be easily cut.I have used these purses for years because of their features. I even tend to use them when I am not traveling.I have designer purses but these are my favourite.

Nice colour for spring. Great features: excellent cross body strap, functional pockets, great safety features. Perfect size, not too small or big.

Good quality, roomy bag which is a perfect size for wearing across the body comfortably. The range of pockets are very useful.
