Great product for youths
Bought this backpack for my 14 year old daughter who had gone on a week long scouting trip about 6 months ago. She has used this pack on about 5 more weekend trips ever since also. She was very happy with it, lots of room, easy for her to adjust being only 5 feet tall. It's seems to be a little expensive but it's worth every dollar. The size if perfect for youths, not to small or too big. All workmanship is great. Lots of pockets, everything fits great and has great balance. Most weight she has carried was about 20+ lbs and it held together pretty good. I know this pack will last her for many years, most likely she will outgrow the pack before we need to purchase a new one. Definitely would recommend

MISSING RAIN COVER
I don't like the fact that it doesn't come with rain cover. I think this is essential for hikking. Organization is fine and adjusting it is not that difficult. I like the elastic bands at the end of the strings so you don't have strings flying around. But again the negative side is the lack of rain cover like other backpacks at equal or less price.

Invest in a good pack, dont go with the cheaper packs.
I am a very petite woman at only 5ft tall and saw the youtube video on this backpack and am going to give it a try for me. After buying a cheaper $40 that ripped the first time using it I decided I am going to invest in one that will last, and it didn't really fit my petite frame either. Just wish they had a "girls" color in this back pack.

While this seemed like an excellent pack with lots of handy pockets
While this seemed like an excellent pack with lots of handy pockets, it didn't fit my son. He's only 10, but he's already my "backpacker buddy" and carries his fair share on our trips. Unfortunately, though this pack is adjustable, it just isn't adjustable ENOUGH. The waist belt was huge on him even when we had it closed as far as it would go, and the shoulder straps were too high as well. We bought the Osprey Ace 50 instead, and he thought the pack was empty with the exact same load as he'd been carrying in the Kelty Junior. Clearly this isn't as one-size as advertised.
